So, this is a follow up to a blog that I posted a few months back about an exhibit at The Annenberg Space for Photography. century hotel miami There is a very cool exhibit going on right now called Who Shot Rock Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present .
As I mentioned in my initial blog post, my son is an accomplished photographer of live music/bands, among other things, therefore an exhibit of this nature is very near and dear to my heart.   Who Shot Rock Roll explores, in depth, a number of photographers and musical historians who experienced, first hand, the musical revolution and forerunners or yesteryear and today.  Through film and photographs, century hotel miami stories from some of the music industry s icons are told in (sometimes graphic) detail.
The Los Angeles showing of this exhibit is the only one on the western coast of the United States and features an original short documentary century hotel miami film produced exclusively for the Annenberg Space for Photography Shot in Los Angeles, New York and the United Kingdom, the film will also include appearances by recording century hotel miami artists century hotel miami such as Alice Cooper and Henry Rollins, as well as rock photography über-collector Michael Ochs, Grammy-winning album cover designer Gary Burden and guest curator and author Gail Buckland. The exhibit was originally shown and created by the Brooklyn Museum with Buckland.
