The third award went to Boeing Company located in Houston, Texas for $460 million toward development of the CST-100 spacecraft and Atlas V system.
NASA s Commercial Crew Development program has been executing drastic changes in order to realize the program's goal and at the same time bridge the gap that was created with the 2011 retirement of the space shuttle.
