Surveys show Disney considering VIP and add-on theme park ticket options for Walt Disney World and Disneyland by Ricky Brigante Posted on August vacation rentals cape cod 11, 2010 Get the latest: Follow us on Twitter & Facebook ! Topics: Disney , Disneyland Resort , Featured , Theme Parks , Walt Disney World Tags: add-on vacation rentals cape cod , discount , experience , Fastpass , survey , Theme Park Club , ticket , VIP
Some recent vacation rentals cape cod guests to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. have received surveys from Disney surrounding vacation rentals cape cod possible vacation rentals cape cod future theme park ticketing options.
Disney Theme Park Club, Walt Disney World Receive a Walt Disney World 7-Day Park Hopper ticket with water park access once per year for 10 years ($2,000 per person, or $200 per year a savings of more than 50% at current prices.);
Be Part of the Magic Add-On Four to six hour experience side-by-side with select vacation rentals cape cod Disney characters including a makeover, private meet n greet with ride experience, photo session, themed meal, and private transportation (Examples: Princess or Buzz Lightyear. $1,500 per group, up to 6.);
Character Nights Nighttime visit to the Magic Kingdom or Disneyland park with all attraction wait times at 10 minutes or less, special fireworks, unlimited snacks, and more character vacation rentals cape cod experiences ($125 per person, per day);
Premium vacation rentals cape cod Holiday Ticket Entrance vacation rentals cape cod to the Magic Kingdom or Disneyland on popular vacation rentals cape cod holidays with a limit on the number of guests allowed in the park, allowing more time with characters and shorter lines for attractions ($99 per person, per day $17 more than the current one-day ticket);
vacation rentals cape cod All-Inclusive Disney Resort (Walt Disney World) Unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages, resort recreation (boat rentals, parasailing, etc.), amenities (Internet access, gym, etc.) ($40 $80 per person, per night. Does not include room rate.);
The idea of Disney having VIP experiences for an extra cost has often been debated vacation rentals cape cod among Disney theme park regulars. Those with money to burn would surely enjoy the benefits of unlimited Fastpass vacation rentals cape cod or pre-planned schedules with little-to-no waiting in line for popular attractions. However, guests who can only afford Disney theme park vacations every once in a while worry that their experience will be cheapened by those who are able to skip lines and reserve seating simply by giving the Mouse a few hundred extra bucks.
Universal Orlando, Disney s primary theme park competitor in Florida, already offers an Express pass for an extra cost (and far less than $150 per person), allowing those who are willing to pay more to skip lines ahead of those who only purchase admission tickets. Disney s existing Fastpass system is free but has limitations and available Fastpass tickets often run out early in the day for the most popular vacation rentals cape cod attractions.
The logistics of enforcing the partial day and no-ride tickets are unknown. How would certain guests be asked to leave at 3 p.m. or be turned away from attractions? Would all guests be required to show a valid ticket before entering an attraction? It s not unheard of. In Disneyland s early years, the system required guests to purchase tickets for each ride they wanted to enjoy.
Families who travel to Disney theme park regularly year after year would certainly enjoy savings in the Theme Park Club offerings above. Even at current ticket vacation rentals cape cod prices, when broken down per-year, the up-front cost of $1,500 or $2,000 is at least a 50% discount and Disney tickets rise in price nearly every year.
But remember, none of these tickets or experiences are currently available. These are options Disney is only considering, as described in recent online surveys. Depending on the reaction from those taking the survey, we may or may not see any of them actually come to the parks in the future.
What are your thoughts on these possible new tickets and experiences? vacation rentals cape cod Would you buy any of them? Or do you think paying more for VIP experiences is unnecessary and everyone should have the same access with park admission? Comment below!
My head hurts from reading all those options. The Character Nights sounds attractive. But I would prefer they have a version that elimates the Meet Greets and reduces the cost. Oh no! I just created ANOTHER option!
Unless you wrote it wrong originally, why would they have to be kicked out at 3:00? You originally wrote the pass would give Access to theme parks from opening until 3:00 pm or 3:30 pm until closing So unless you were wrong there, I believe there would be no reason to kick anyone out at 3:00 b/c that is the time people with that pass would be coming in.
ah yes, I see now. Definitely my mistake there. I just skimmed over it and saw both times and thought you meant either or b/c you werent quite sure yet b/c this is all a little uncertain at them moment. I guess that s why it s a good idea to read the whole article so there isn any confusion!
The problems I see with this option is the same as with the special vacation rentals cape cod event nights (Mickey s Christmas and Halloween parties). People are given a bracelet if they have purchased a special ticket for the night and are allowed to stay past regular closing; however, people have figured out that if they stay for the last parade and then duck into the stores for an hour or more and they can avoid being thrown out of the park. Once the party begins the only time your bracelet is checked is when you try to get on one of the rides (and that is usually for the 1st hour only according to a cast memeber)after that they can come and go as they please. We saw lots and lots of people without bracelets at last year s Mickey s Very Merry Christmas Party and it really annoyed me.
I love the alternative theme park ticket options just because when I m going in November I would love to buy just a cheap no ride ticket just to see all the Christmas decorations! They d probably enforce it just like they do for Extra Magic Hours.
Not a fan of the VIP treatment options, I m in the camp where I think it would cheapen the experience for those who didn t buy it. At least the way the system runs now is fair if not perfect. No matter the amount of money you have, you get the equal chance to experience everything in park like everyone else. It s the resorts where you get the VIP experience if you pay for it. While I have the money to buy those extra add-ons, I don t really think it s fair. In the real world those with the money get all the perks at least at Disney vacation rentals cape cod you can escape that and everyone is equal.
I would love the Theme Park Club idea even if you missed a few years out of the 10 it would still be a savings. If we think we are going to Disney, we try to buy the tickets before the price hike in August anyway. So this is right up my alley.
The all inclusive might be a good package as well. We ve gone on the free disney dining plan promotions and it was convenient using the plan so it might be worth it depends on where on that sliding scale they price it. $80 per night is so not worth it.
Personally, I dislike the dining plan options for exactly the same reason you dislike the VIP options. It favors traveling guests with vacation packages over locals or those who book trips separately. It causes all the good restaurants to get booked up quickly, leaving me with one heck of a difficult time finding a decent place to eat without waiting an hour to sit down. I d rather Disney go back to not offering free dining (or any dining plan) so everyone can be on an even playing field there as well.
I m not sure how it favors the traveling guest, when anyone can book a reservation online or by phone in advance (on resort, off resort, local, dining plan or non-dining plan). You don t have to be on the dining plan to get an advanced reservation. While it may have added some people booking the reservations in advance it s just like any other restaurant that accepts reservations or call ahead seating. Those without a reservation will have to wait.
Yes, everyone can book those reservations with ease. However, those on the free dining plan are *much* more likely to eat at a nice sit-down vacation rentals cape cod restaurant vacation rentals cape cod than they would have been otherwise. So the result is that more restaurants are seeing more patrons dining for free who, without the dining plan, wouldn t have been there in the first place. And that makes the restaurants more crowded.
No one is dining for free. I pay for the dining plan. It is discounted, but it is not free. And if I want to dine at one of my favorite restaurants, dining plan or not, I make my reservations way ahead of time. The playing field is quite level, anyone who is willing vacation rentals cape cod to spend the time planning their Disney dining experience will be able to enjoy it without vacation rentals cape cod stressing out. If you re not willing vacation rentals cape cod to plan ahead .well, as they say, if you snooze you lose.
Sorry, perhaps my thoughts weren t directed at you then. There are travelers who are dining for free many of them. Disney has run several promotions vacation rentals cape cod (including a current one available for booking vacation rentals cape cod until tomorrow) that gives you the dining plan for FREE with certain vacation packages. It s those free promotions that have the restaurants extra clogged, not the dining plan in general.
Unlimited FASSPASS sounds horrible. But allowing people to buy essentially another card, or one of the birthday/volunteer cards for a reasonable amount would be a great idea. So you get a guarantee of riding each ride once or something. Then you could choose your park based on which one you could purchase this for. I would certainly vacation rentals cape cod pay 10 20 bucks a person for this, and it would not clog up the lines much if any at all. Honestly, as much as I love Hollywood Studios, we won t go there unless we can fight the crowd and get those Toy Story fast passes, or we will get to ride it once after standing in line for an hour.
As 40ish year olds with kid out of the house, vacation rentals cape cod we go down quite often and we like the rides a lot, but we also like to take it easy. I am speaking at a conference in Orlando in October, and I plan to go over to on

Use Up Disney World Meal Plan Just returned from a trip to Disney World with my family. We stayed on the property and were able to take advantage of the meal plan, which seems expensive at first but is a money saver. The plan gives you one snack, one counter service meal and one sit down dinner per day.
On the last day, we realized we had several counter service meals that we had not used and found out by asking drury inn and suites that we could cash them in for snacks - 1 counter service meal = 3 snacks. We purchased Mickey cookies prewrapped and brought them home as gifts instead of just leaving the dollar amount at Disney unused.

This will be my daughter Mackenzie s first time going to Disney in Florida. drury inn and suites We saved and saved for this trip. I found a FANTASTIC deal on the non stop flight there and back for $76.33 and we got a 4 star hotel for $31.00 drury inn and suites a night. Passes for Disney were a huge chunk out of our money, but again I found a fantastic deal on those. 6 days of passes for 215.00. We are super, super excited about this trip. Sounds like everyone has some great ideas! My best advice, eat breakfast in your room before you leave (pig out!), drury inn and suites take bottles of water and snacks for the day, and eat a nice chain place for dinner. Tell your daughter she can have one yummy at the parks, like an ice cream as a treat, that will be expensive enough. I can t agree more to get that fridge in the hotel room. Worth every penny! (And I remember lots of drinking fountains in the parks!) Go Back to Hotel for Sandwiches drury inn and suites By jillian357 07/25/2007
I grew up with four brothers and my parents took us to Cedar Point every year. One thing we did was in the middle of the day we got our hands stamped and went to the hotel to swim and cool off. If you have a younger drury inn and suites one, he may need a nap. While we were there, we had cold meat sandwiches and whatever snacks drury inn and suites my mom brought on the trip or bought at the grocery there. We all enjoyed the break and cooling off in the pool. We went back to the park refreshed and ready to finish out the day till closing drury inn and suites time!! Counter Service Restaurants and Bring Snacks By Debbie52 07/25/2007
The counter service type restaurants inside the parks will have the cheapest food although drury inn and suites still can be expensive, but portions are usually generous so you can share. My biggest advice is have some water bottles or some sort of sports bottle for each family member that you can refill with water. Drinks in the parks are very high and you don t want to be drinking sweet stuff all day anyway. If one of you carries a backpack, fill it with some cereal bars, fruit, etc. to snack on. If your hotel provides a complimentary breakfast, eat big so that you can snack for lunch and then have a nice dinner. Planning a Trip to Disney World
We are planning a Disney World trip for the week after Thanksgiving 2014. It will be my 3rd time going and the first time for my dh, dd, and ds. (MIL and FIL's first time too if they decide to come with us.) We are planning on letting the kids know this Christmas and having that be the "big" shared gift with a Disney shirt, stuffed animal, rolling backpack, and book for each of the kids, as well as using other "gift giving opportunities" throughout the year, i.e. birthdays, to acquire more things they will need or want to take. We are planning to stay in one of the resorts as well as using one of the dining packages.
My questions are these: What are the best things to pack? (2 or possibly 4 adults and 2 kids, 6 and 8 at the time of the trip, and not sure if we're flying or driving yet.) What are suggestions for restaurants to make reservations for using the dining package? (1 snack, 1 quick service, and 1 sit down per day)

3 Days with No Orlando Theme Park Tickets; How We Survived and Thrived Almost for FREE! Home Vacation heathrow airport hotels Planning Tips Facebook Pinterest About
If you have ever saved money for or during a vacation to Walt Disney World, you might be a Cheapskate Princesss! Cheapskate Tips Cheapskate Time Savers Fabulous Food Free Entertainment Special Events Holiday Photography 3 Days with No Orlando Theme Park Tickets; How We Survived heathrow airport hotels and Thrived Almost for FREE! July 6, 2013 By Amanda heathrow airport hotels 2 Comments
When I heard people vacation in Orlando without actually setting foot in a theme park, I thought this was sort of a joke. Orlando is a nice town, but to go there without riding roller coasters? Orlando without going to the Magic Kingdom? In recent years it s become go to Orlando without visiting Harry Potter? People really drive/fly that far and don t ride any roller coasters or get character autographs? Me personally I live in a vacation town almost on the sandy white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.  I have just short of a nine hour drive to reach Orlando. No way was I driving to that far and not go to a theme park.
Until my annual passes ran out three days before the end of Spring Break, and I wasn t ready to pack the family up and head home just yet. I didn t want to spend any more money on entertainment, but I wanted to hang out in Orlando for a little while longer.
Our rental house had a heated in ground heathrow airport hotels pool. Of course house rentals don t always have a heated pool, but we got a fabulous deal on a rental house in Davenport. heathrow airport hotels So fabulous, that s how we wound up in Orlando heathrow airport hotels for Spring heathrow airport hotels Break in the first place as opposed to renting a place at the beach 15 minutes from my house. We didn t pay any more for this house with a pool than other houses we priced without a pool.
Think you might like a rental with a pool? You can read about our rental house adventures here: 18 Cheapskate Reasons to Rent a House in Orlando for a Disney Vacation   2. Theme Park Connection Shopping
We drove what seemed like forever to a store called Theme Park Connection, a store located in a Winter Garden outside of Orando. They specialize in buying, selling, and trading Disney items. I bought nine vintage (translation = used and old) key chains for $1 each, plus two vintage (translation = old but brand new in the package) luggage tags. There were lots of authentic Disney parks signs and memorabilia, but most everything in the store was way out of my price range. I m just not going to pay $300 for a framed print of the Grand Floridian Resort or $1200 for those cool Disney cruise ship models you see enticing you to book a cruise. Used trading pins here were $3 each, which is double or triple heathrow airport hotels for what I pay on eBay, and used Vinylmations were $7, which is 3 times what I pay on eBay buying in bulk.
Theme Park Connection was a cool place to visit once, but unless I am on that side of Orlando, I won t be going back anytime soon. For the serious theme park memorabilia collectors, it might be worth the drive to Winter Park, but I won t be back unless we go to Universal or Islands of Adventure, which was about 15 minutes away from their store.
Wow. This place was just as fantastic as I had been warned. I do need to point out that I am a mall snob. I don t necessarily spend a lot of money in malls unless I am looking for something specific, but I love being in really nice malls. I like cool background music, a clean appearance, and lots of room in the food court. Nice bathrooms are a bonus.  I enjoy window shopping, since being a Cheapskate Princess, window shopping is like my own personal sport. heathrow airport hotels I am good at it.
Oh, the places the Mall of Millenea has to shop/window shop. Rolex, Apple, Louis Vuitton, and on and on. They gave me complimentary bottled water at the Vera Bradley store, and it was like a three minute mental visit to a spa.
This mall wasn t overly crowded, and we didn t have a hard time finding a parking spot. We did have a hard time finding our car, having gotten turned around, because it s a big mall. It s so big, you can pick out a sports car across the street on your way back home. This was the third Lotus we saw entering or exiting the parking lot. These three cars would be the only Lotus automobiles I have seen in my entire heathrow airport hotels life. The things you see in Orlando
heathrow airport hotels I do a large amount of window shopping at the resorts and theme parks, heathrow airport hotels because well, like many people, I don t always have a lot of money to spend there. My kids have their own spending money; at their age, they earned it or they don t have any souvenir money. heathrow airport hotels How many $50 sweatshirts do I need? Do I need another $25 Christmas ornament? What I really NEED is a bargain, to feel like I found something that was is expensive and was marked down just for me.
That s what you find in the Character Warehouse Authentic Parks Merchandise marked up to 70% off. My best finds, not necessarily on that vacation, but through the years? Scarves, t-shirts, and soft computer carrying cases. I found a $30 iPhone case for $4.99.
Three miles from our rental house in one direction was a Super Walmart, and three miles the other way was a Super Target. On this day, we chose the Target. heathrow airport hotels There was lots and lots of Disney merchandise, an entire section full, but Target wasn t as crowded as some of the Wal-marts we have shopped at in Orlando.
We went shopping because we needed food!  We needed groceries because we do a fair amount of cooking in a rental house to save money, and we found food prices were great as well, with costs comparable to shopping at home.
I took our dog on a walk down to the lake in our rental house neighborhood. Many houses for rent throughout Orlando seem to be in close proximity to a lake. Our house was about .25 mile down from Lake Davenport, which is mostly undeveloped. Birds were chirping, and a nice cool breeze was blowing since Spring Break this year was a bit cooler than what I usually expect. heathrow airport hotels Taking a walk by a lake is indeed very relaxing, a great way to start your day.
You re really thinking about renting that house now, admit it. Here s the link again on how we found out house and the bargain we got: 18 Cheapskate Reasons to Rent a House in Orlando for a Disney heathrow airport hotels Vacation 2) Lunch at Caribbean Beach Resort
I have to feed a family of five adults: heathrow airport hotels with three kids in 10th, 8th, and 6th grades, we all quality as adults in terms of table service restaurants. A characters meal will cost me over $200 including the tip. So as a general rule, if we are not cooking ourselves, we stick to counter service meals. We are Pecos Bills Tall Tale Inn regulars, try to find a quiet spot upstairs at Epcot s Electric Umbrella, and we also like to visit the resorts for a nice counter service meal there.
One of my very favorite resorts for lunch is Caribbean Beach Resort. With a food court that is reminiscent of visiting a tropical village, complete with building facades and a blue sky painted overhead, this is truly a nice place to eat.
You do not have to eat here, or really at any of the resorts, but we were there around lunch time and needed a meal. Walking around is free, but this is a great location to grab a meal. 3) Walked Around The Beach Club Resort Lake
After we left Caribbean Beach, we drove over to the Disney s Boardwalk Resort and took a walk around Crescent Lake, taking in the sites and gift shops. They have a really cute little gift shop and a great bakery. Having grown up in a water front town, currently living near the Gulf of Mexico, I like water locations. I enjoy being around water, hearing the sounds of boat horns on the lakes, and just soaking up the coastal lifestyle.
heathrow airport hotels Welcome Home Wednesdays are an hour long event for Vacation Club Members held every week at the Boardwalk Resort  Atlantic Dance Hall. most every week on, you guessed it,  Wednesdays from 2-3 p.m. The session is a combination heathrow airport hotels sales pitch for new DVC resorts, information session, and fun social time for DVC members.  Everyone attending receives a coupon heathrow airport hotels for snacks  including apples, popcorn, caramel corn, lemonade, coffee and water. It is free to all  Disney Vacation Club  members. We like to attend when we can because each person receives a FREE DVC hat, which I wear all year round. So this wouldn t be free unless you were a member of the Vacation Club.
If you pay DVC dues, you have paid a fee to attend, heathrow airport hotels so while it s not free per say, it didn t cost me any extra money that day to attend. If you are not a DVC member, you can not attend, but you can do the next activity for free.
While at the Caribbean Beach Resort, I started heathrow airport hotels talking to the Cast Member manning the DVC booth, who noticed me taking photos of odd things like brownies and light fixtures. He suggested we attend a DVC open House to see the Aulani Resort room. So we did. We drove over to Saratoga Springs to the DVC building to see the new rooms.
The Disney Vacation heathrow airport hotels Club tour is just that, an informative tour of the newest actual-sized Vacation Club Villas, in our case Aulani and Animal Kingdom. But you don t have to drive on your own. To arrange for a tour, you can stop by any DVC information kiosk at both the parks and resorts, call the front desk of your resort, or call DVC direct. A Cast Member in a red DVC van will pick you up at a resorts and deliver you to Saratoga Springs Resort for your tour. After the tour, which can last  from 45 minutes to over an hour,  your family  will be treated to ice cream in their DVC  ice cream parlor before being whisked away to any Disney Resort or park. A bonus if you have small children they  provide childcare heathrow airport hotels for your kids while you enjoy the tour.
Just for taking the tour, each member of your family is given an instant FASTPASS  card  good for up to three rides in any park. These cards are usually good for four days including the day you receive them. You can redeem them on any ride that offers Fastpass, unless all the Fastpasses for that ride have been distributed that day, so don t go too late in the day to use them.

Last week, I told you about my planned trip to visit Walt Disney World for the holidays .  I am happy that not only will I be joined by my family, but my friends family as well.  We have the dates nailed down, leaving CA on December 20th-arriving in Florida on December 22nd (My birthday..I planned it that way) and leaving Florida on January 2 to return to CA on January 4th.  Seems like plenty of time to enjoy Disney.  Now I struggled with things to do while in Florida and not just Disney.  I also want to spend time relaxing in our room, maybe visit Universal Studios and catch a basketball game with the Orlando Magic s.  So that meant we could get away with 4 day tickets, one park per day.  Since it going to be the holidays, I would like to take my time and enjoy each park-so I chose to do away with having a park hopper option.
Undercover Tourist has always been my go to choice for tickets when visiting Florida.  They are dependable and I received my tickets fast.  best of all, shipping to your home is FREE .  Undercover Tourist currently sells the 4 day park tickets for $290.95.  However, I purchased mines before the price increase for $267.50.  The best park is that you have the park tickets car rentals seattle wa in hand before you leave on your trip.  Note: Make sure to take a picture of the back of each ticket in case you lose them.

Everyone wants Walt Disney World discounts. Discounts on Disney World vacations, discounts on Disney Park tickets, discounts on Disney hotels, discounts on flights to Orlando, we want it all. We all want to save money.
Most vacation destinations woo guests with an unending string of flashy ads and low prices or giveaways. Disney is a little different. They don't reduce prices but there are ways to save money on your next trip. Let's talk about them.
Disney is notorious for keeping prices high. For example, if you go to the other major movie based tourist attraction in Orlando you can find huge discounts on tickets. On Thursday, some customers were able to grab tickets for $5, $10 and even free before United realized the mistake and shut down the bookings on its website and phone centers to prevent more tickets being sold at the ultra cheap prices. One of the customers who got a cheap deal was Maura Leahy, who lives in Houston. She was trying to book a Christmas trip back to Washington to visit her parents when she noticed the deal. She found that the trip to Washington was $5, but the return trip would be $220 which was still cheap. Then she decided not to wait and booked an earlier trip to surprise her parents on Friday.
"It was $5 round-trip, no fees, nothing," she said. "This is nuts." Leahy checked in right away and printed her boarding pass in hopes of increasing her chances of being able to use cheap the ticket.
Another customer, Bob Stokas, of Chicago, went on to buy six return tickets for his family to Los Angeles. He thought he would pay $400 per ticket, but he paid $60 altogether. He thinks the airline should honor the deal.
"My opinion is that United, from a PR perspective, cruise to france needs to honor the tickets and honor the contract that we established," cruise to france he told NBC. "I believe the contract was in good faith - we're good customers of United, been flying them for years."
There have been thousands cruise to france of drivers leaving the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport cruise to france that have been overcharged as a result of technical errors during the first two weeks of a new parking control system that costs $56 million.

This sounds like one of those situations if it sounds to good to be true then it probably isnt. Most

Years ago while on our honeymoon we got hooked into a so called free ticket deal in Mexico. It ended up that on a beautiful day were were required to sit through a high pressure sales talk. I felt captive. I looked out the window at the beach and the sea and decided never ever again would I believe that these free things did not come at a great cost. It was so stressful top gun tom cruise and lasted far longer than expected and I ended up crying and begging to leave. We offered to return the free tickets and items and were not allowed. Lesson learned.
The fine print does state that you must attend a 90-minute time share presentation. My husband and I just took a cruise, and our 2-night hotel stay was paid for because we agreed to tour Ron Jon Resort in Port Canaveral. It definitely top gun tom cruise was worth the $200 that our hotel would have cost, but it was closer to 2 hours, and even though top gun tom cruise they said it was not "high pressure" it still felt like it because we talked to the salesman, then his manager, then his manager, all 3 of which tried to get us to buy in one way or another. (I wouldn't do it just for 1 free admission into Disneyworld!)
This sounds like one of those situations if it sounds top gun tom cruise to good to be true then it probably isnt. Most of the time the offer for free park tickets is accompanied by a high pressured time share or vacation club sales presentation.
I'd read the fine print on this one. It's a free ticket if you stay at a Good Neighbor hotel and there is a pitch to buy into a timeshare that you have to attend (both parties have to attend if you are married). Definitely NOT worth doing for a free ticket.

Finally, Will you be visiting a water park during your stay this time? Disney offers a "water park f

First, you're smart to be thinking about this decision before you travel to Orlando. Of all the potentially bad decisions you can make when buying a ticket to Disney World, hotel monaco seattle the absolute worst to is to wait to get your tickets when you arrive at Disney. You'll waste time in a long line at the ticket booths, spend the highest possible price for you tickets, and probably end up making a rushed decision about all the available options, anyway.
Instead, do your research and buy your tickets in advance, so you can go straight hotel monaco seattle into the park when it opens on your first morning in Orlando, allowing you to hit many of the most popular rides before lines build up later in day.
The Walt Disney World Resort includes four theme parks (none of them named "Disney World," hotel monaco seattle by the way - the original park with the big castle hotel monaco seattle is called "The Magic Kingdom"), two water parks, an outdoor shopping mall, golf courses, and a bunch of hotels. It sells theme park tickets good for one to up to 10 days, with a variety of extra options we'll explain below.
And Disney isn't the only theme park resort in Central Florida. hotel monaco seattle Up the road in Orlando, you'll also find the Universal Orlando Resort, which is home to two theme parks, an outdoor shopping hotel monaco seattle mall, three hotels and a nearby water park. Between hotel monaco seattle Disney and Universal hotel monaco seattle lies SeaWorld Orlando, which offers its eponymous theme park, a water park, and "Discovery Cove" - an exclusive animal encounter experience where you can swim with dolphins in between noshing on gourmet food.
The first question you should ask yourself hotel monaco seattle when thinking about your theme park vacation is How long do you have to stay in Orlando ? Once you make that decision, you can begin to think about how many of these options you reasonably can fit into your vacation. I wouldn't recommend trying to do more than one park per day on your first visit. And many visitors decided they need more than one day at some of the individual parks, in order to get to everything in those parks.
So if you want to see all the theme parks in the Orlando hotel monaco seattle area, you'll need at least seven full days in Central Florida. Throw in the water parks, and now you're talking about 11 days. Most families don't have that amount of time for their vacation, so they choose to focus.
That brings us to the second question: Will you be visiting Universal and/or SeaWorld? If your family includes big Harry Potter fans, you'll likely want to include Universal Orlando on your trip, since that's the home of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter . And if people in your family care more about seeing animals than going on rides, you'll want to include SeaWorld, too.
But if neither of those options really grabs you, you'll probably get the most value by restricting your visit to Disney. Disney prices its ticket packages in a way that makes it cheaper and cheaper to add each additional day to your visit. That often makes adding a fifth or sixth day at the Disney World theme parks less expensive that going over to Universal or SeaWorld.
Let's say that you've decided that you still want to include Walt Disney hotel monaco seattle World on your vacation - and that you're not just going to opt for a Universal and/or SeaWorld-only vacation instead. The next question for you is Will you be staying "on property" in a Disney hotel monaco seattle hotel, or not?
Staying in a Disney hotel monaco seattle hotel gives you several additional benefits: Extra time to visit certain parks before or after they open or close to the public for the day, package discounts that might include free nights at your hotel or free dining throughout your stay (depending upon when during the year you visit), and a free bus ride to and from the Orlando airport (potentially saving you the expense of renting a car, but costing you the opportunity to go "off property" to Universal or SeaWorld if you don't).
That said, Disney's hotels are often more expensive that comparable quality hotels "off property." And some of the Disney hotels (especially the less expensive ones) are miles away from the theme parks, requiring you to either drive your car or wait for a Disney bus ride to and from the parks - so you're not saving hotel monaco seattle too much time compared with staying at nearby "off property" hotels.
hotel monaco seattle If keeping your costs to an absolute minimum is important for you, you'll likely want to stay off-property. But if you're able to spend extra to get extra value, you might consider staying at one of Disney's hotels and buying a package deal that includes your theme park tickets. The Disney hotels are priced in three tiers - "value", "moderate" and "deluxe" - with room quality, available extra hotel services, and location relative to the parks all factoring in those designations. In other words, the more you pay, the more you get. Check Disney's special hotel monaco seattle offers page to see what package discounts are available now, to help you get an idea about what you'd need to budget to stay on-site.
And if you choose to stay off property - remember that extra-hours benefit hotel monaco seattle for staying hotel monaco seattle in a Disney hotel? That's called "Extra Magic Hours" and if you're staying off-property, hotel monaco seattle you'll want to avoid whichever parks have the Extra Magic Hours on a given day , since it'll be packed with Disney hotel guests. The best way to get value on your theme park vacation is to try to go where the crowds aren't.
A few more questions hotel monaco seattle for you: Will you likely be returning to Disney World? Here's hotel monaco seattle why this question is vital - Disney World tickets expire 14 days after you use the first day on your ticket. But you can buy a "no expire" option for your tickets, at additional hotel monaco seattle cost, that keeps the unused days on your ticket good forever. That means you can go ahead and buy a 10-day ticket this year and keep all your unused days for a future visit, effectively locking in the lowest possible hotel monaco seattle of today's prices, saving you the expense of Disney World's twice-annual ticket price increases in the future.
The "no expire" option makes each day of your ticket quite a bit more expensive, though hotel monaco seattle - from $13-$28 hotel monaco seattle a day more as of this writing. The real value in the "no expire" hotel monaco seattle option is that it allows you to "buy in bulk." Since Disney lowers the per-day hotel monaco seattle cost of your ticket the more days you buy, you get the best deal by buying a 10-day ticket. Adding hotel monaco seattle the "no-expire" option allows you to buy the 10-day ticket even if you're not staying that long on this trip, locking in that price for your future visits, too.
As of this writing, a four-day Disney World base ticket - without the "no-expire" option - costs $64 a day for adults. But a 10-day ticket with the no-expire option costs $59.30 a day for adults. Throw in the fact that Disney typically raises per-day ticket prices a few bucks every year, and you can see how the "no-expire" option can help you save money in the future. This option hotel monaco seattle works best for people who visit Orlando hotel monaco seattle regularly but intend to visit Disney for fewer than four days on each visit. If you plan to spend five or more days at Disney theme parks on your Orlando visit, or aren't sure that you'll come back to Disney, it's better to stay away from the expensive "no expire" option.
Next question: hotel monaco seattle Do you want to visit more than one park per day? For a flat extra charge of $57 (as of this writing) you can add a "park hopper" option for the all the days on your ticket, whether that's two days to 10. The "park hopper" allows you to visit as many of the Disney World theme parks as you want in a single day. Without it, you can visit only one park per day on your ticket.
If you're new to Disney World, and just getting a feel for the parks, I'd suggest spending a full day at each park and saving a few bucks by skipping the "park hopper" option. But adding it gives you enormous flexibility hotel monaco seattle to get the most value from each day of your visit, allowing you to move from one park to another to take advantage hotel monaco seattle of extended operating hours, or to move to a less crowded park as lines build up later in the day.
Finally, Will you be visiting a water park during your stay this time? Disney offers a "water park fun & more" option, also for a flat $57 per ticket, that allows you to use the resort's two water parks, mini golf courses, the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, hotel monaco seattle the DisneyQuest indoor game facility, and to play one round at Disney's Oak Trail golf course during your visit.
You get one visit to a "water park fun & more" location for each day on your ticket, though you can use them on different days - you don't have to go on the same days you visit the parks. (And to get the most from the ticket, you probably shouldn't.) hotel monaco seattle Note that if you do buy a one-day ticket with the "water parks fun & more" option, you get two visits, not just one.* (This paragraph has been updated to reflect a change hotel monaco seattle in Disney policy from past years, noted in the comments.)
The water park tickets, bought separately, cost $52 a day for adults, so if you're planning to visit a water park for a second day, or to use any of the other benefits, it's probably worth it to add the "water park fun & more" option. But if you're just sticking to the theme parks, this is an easy add-on to skip.
So there you go. Once you're started thinking about your answers to these questions, you're ready to visit Walt Disney World's hotel monaco seattle ticket hotel monaco seattle purchase pages and to start pricing your options to find the best choice for your family's needs and budget.
And if you're considering including a trip to Universal Orlando or to SeaWorld, follow the links to price Universal Orlando theme park tickets and vacation packages hotel monaco seattle as well as SeaWorld tickets and packages . If none of these package options appeal to you, go ahead and start pricing off-property hotels in the area as an alternative, using a service such as Hotels.com.

Good

As for the ages of the kids, this seemed like a great time to visit Disney. Their ages were 2, 5, 8,

Since it may be another week or more before we get iPhoto working again and can load all our Disney World pictures, I'll take some time to share a bit about how this trip came about and what we did to prepare and pack! Maybe I can add some photos avis rent a car cleveland ohio at some point.
avis rent a car cleveland ohio I went to Disney World twice as a child around middle school age. Once was a fun trip with my family, and the other was a trip for a national dance competition with my family and also my dance team. It was a magical experience both times, and I always hoped to go back one day. As a teen, young adult, and now a mother, I've enjoyed the Disney movies of the past 20 years like Aladdin, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, and Finding Nemo. It's fun that these are all major attractions and shows in Disney World today! I found myself singing along to many of the songs, and reminiscing about fun high school summers watching Lion King with my friends!
In the summer of 2010, while pregnant with Thomas (#4), we were able to take a family vacation to San Diego, California avis rent a car cleveland ohio where my brother's family avis rent a car cleveland ohio lives. We took a side trip overnight to Anaheim for a day at Disneyland. We had a lovely day there, and although the kids were still small (2, 5, and 7) and not quite ready for the thrill avis rent a car cleveland ohio rides, we all loved Disneyland and started to think about one day visiting the big Disney World in Florida.
Free Dining avis rent a car cleveland ohio Deal! A couple years back, I heard that some homeschooling friends were able to take a special family vacation avis rent a car cleveland ohio to Disney avis rent a car cleveland ohio World in the off-season and got a great deal that included a Free Dining package. This sounded absolutely dreamy to me. For the most part, I dislike cooking (and cleaning), avis rent a car cleveland ohio so getting to go to a nice hotel, an amazing theme park, and choosing whatever avis rent a car cleveland ohio food we wanted sounded like the best vacation ever!
Last year, I started researching avis rent a car cleveland ohio the possibility of taking this kind of vacation to see if it might fit in the budget. But at the time we were already planning a big beach week with Steven's family and were also looking at the possibility of buying a house here in our new city. It just wasn't going to work out in 2012, so I kept my sights set on 2013!
In February and March of this year, I started avis rent a car cleveland ohio reading the Disney message boards and checking into the Free Dining package. Many predicted it would be offered for September and later months of 2013. September would be perfect for us because as homeschoolers we aren't tied to a school schedule and can travel at more low-crowd times. My friends who had taken the trip before recommended a Disney Travel Agent, who ended up doing all of the booking for our hotel, park tickets, and meal reservations. avis rent a car cleveland ohio She let me know when the Free Dining Deal for September would be going "live" avis rent a car cleveland ohio (in early May), and was able to secure avis rent a car cleveland ohio our trip reservations that first day. Disney Agents are payed through avis rent a car cleveland ohio Disney, so they are pretty much free for us to use them. It was nice to have the advice of an experienced agent and to know that she was securing all our reservations. I also appreciated times when she told me it would be cheaper to do something through avis rent a car cleveland ohio our resort than using her services. I'd definitely recommend using a Disney Agent on a trip to Disney World.
Choosing our Resort and Park tickets. The resort choice ended up being a no-brainer for us. We knew we wanted to stay at a Disney resort to get the package deal and the free dining. Our youngest child was 2yrs old (nearly 3!), and so on this trip he didn't "count" for either park tickets or a room. This allowed us to stay in one 5-person room that had a small Murphy bed that came out from the wall. The only resort that offered this was the one we chose, the Port Orleans Riverside, a Moderate Resort. The next (more expensive) option would be getting 2 rooms at a Value resort. But we would have paid several hundred more, and for the free dining plan, at a Value Resort we would have only gotten the "Quick Service dining" which doesn't include any table service meals. There may have been Deluxe Resorts that accommodated 5 people, and I know there are some places like the Wilderness Lodge that offer suites with small kitchenettes, but the hotel we chose was by far the most economical for our family.
Steven initially avis rent a car cleveland ohio only wanted to spend 3 days at the Disney avis rent a car cleveland ohio Parks. He's more of a nature lover than a theme-park fan, but somehow I got him to agree to a 4th day. I figured avis rent a car cleveland ohio since at that point we were planning on 4 days of driving, we had to at least stay at Disney for 4 days! After deciding to fly to Florida, we opted to stay an extra night because of the late flight and then take Sunday off from visiting avis rent a car cleveland ohio the parks and just go to church, swim at the hotel, and visit Downtown Disney. But in the end, we opted to add that 5th day of park tickets so that we could go to Hollywood Studios on Sunday avis rent a car cleveland ohio evening. I wanted Tommy to see the Disney Jr. characters and there were a few other rides and the Fantasmic show that sounded like a lot of fun.
We opted against the "Park Hopper" tickets, because one park a day seems like quite enough for a family with small children. Plus, with a package deal you have to get all park-hoppers or no park-hoppers, and the price was a few hundred more for the park-hoppers. I think that was a good decision. After taking our trip, I think 6 park days would be ideal. We could have used an extra day at Epcot, but Hollywood and Animal Kingdom can definitely be seen in a day. I think a perfect trip would be about 9 or 10 days in all, with the 6 park days and some free days for enjoying the resort, going to Downtown Disney, and maybe even visiting avis rent a car cleveland ohio another local attraction. I've heard that there are $8 tickets for homeschoolers at Legoland!
Pregnant moms and small kids at Disney World. avis rent a car cleveland ohio Both of our Disney trips were planned months in advance, before we were expecting. Now we've been saying it should be a tradition...whenever I have to undergo another pregnancy, avis rent a car cleveland ohio I win a trip to Disney! avis rent a car cleveland ohio I followed most of the advice for rides, which included no roller coasters or rough thrill rides (like race cars that crash or virtual rides with lots of bumps and drops). avis rent a car cleveland ohio Although I loved roller avis rent a car cleveland ohio coasters as a child and young adult, I haven't felt a huge void by missing out on these, and of course I always have some child with me who can't or doesn't want to ride the scary rides!
I made sure to drink a lot of water on the trip. I was worried about all the walking since I haven't exercised since June, but being off of my hormone supplement and in the 2nd trimester, and of course being at the "happiest place on earth" must have given me a new spark, because I was always the first one awake and hardly napped at all on the trip! I did sit down a lot and we took breaks throughout the day, as I will discuss below in planning our days.
As for the ages of the kids, this seemed like a great time to visit Disney. Their ages were 2, 5, 8, and 10. The oldest 3 were old enough to enjoy the thrill rides and young enough to really experience the "Disney Magic!" avis rent a car cleveland ohio Of course Thomas won't remember the trip, but he was old enough to go on a lot of the rides, watch the shows, and he wasn't even afraid avis rent a car cleveland ohio of the fireworks! The fact that he was just able to squeeze avis rent a car cleveland ohio in as a 2yr old before his birthday made the trip much more economical than it would have been a few weeks later. We would have had to get a bigger room (or even two rooms) and buy park tickets avis rent a car cleveland ohio for him, which would have added at least $500 to our trip!
Flights and restaurants. The summer was spent researching restaurants avis rent a car cleveland ohio and making reservations for our table service meals. We also ended up finding a good deal on flights from Southwest Airlines, and we booked those in late July. Although we had to drive nearly 4 hours to the airport for the discounted flights, we were able to eliminate the 4 days of driving from South Texas to Florida and back. It still took almost a whole day of travel each time with driving to the airport, waiting, then a 2.5hr flight, and then waiting for luggage and the Disney Express Bus service, and then the reverse avis rent a car cleveland ohio on the way home. It would have been nice to fly from our own city. But we were definitely grateful avis rent a car cleveland ohio that we didn't spend 40 hours in the car that week!
I'll share some reviews of these when I share the pictures of each day at the parks. But overall, we're not sure if we'd go the Free Dining route for a future trip. The sit-down meals ate up a lot of time, and we weren't overly impressed with any of the food. Our kids don't eat very much, so we usually had way more food and desserts than we could eat. The quick service meals worked better because they could share meals and we didn't have a lot of food leftover. Plus they were quick! There are discounted avis rent a car cleveland ohio room offers if you don't choose the free dining option, and I think that might be a better avis rent a car cleveland ohio choice for us in the future. The experiences were fun for our first big Disney avis rent a car cleveland ohio trip, though!
Magic Bands and Rides. About a week before our trip, we received an offer to be a part of the trial of Disney's new Magic Bands, which are bracelets worn by Disney guests that contain all the information, tickets, avis rent a car cleveland ohio reservations, and even FastPasses for rides. avis rent a car cleveland ohio So we could make reservations for Disney rides and attractions on the internet from home, from the hotel, the bus, or while at the park. They scanned our bracelets to get into the parks, to keep track of our meal and snack credits, to use our FastPasses, and you could also choose to attach a credit card for easy shopping with just a touch of the bracelet to their scanning device and typing in a 4-digit pin code (my frugal husband did NOT choose that option!). It was fun to choose the color bracelets beforehand avis rent a car cleveland ohio and have the names printed inside the bracelets. We all felt very cool wearing these new Magic Bands!
The week or two before our trip I spent researching rides and schedule plans for our days at Disney. I used some different websites and blogs, as well as a borrowed Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World book. I reserved some o

The Official Ticket Center ~ Probably the story of Walt Disney World wouldn't have been completed had Walt not spotted an inspiringly beautiful island in the Bay Lake long back. This little unspoiled looking island is considered to be the harbinger of the Disney World Project that tends to fascinate millions of theme park lovers today. The island itself being a natural gift had been a real source of inspiration for the Disney imaginers. It had played a unique role in the making of the greatest and happiest place on this Earth ever. Today while Discovery Island is no more a part of Disney attraction, its glorious new mexico travel past still inspires many Disney fans and visitors who had toured the island earlier.
The history of this abandoned Disney area narrates an interesting story which goes back to the time when it was known as Raz Island (between 1900 and 1937). From a great family living retreat and farming ground to favorite hunting retreat of a group of local business people, the Island had catered to different needs of its past owners. After Disney purchased the Island in 1965, it became the inspiration for the world's largest and greatest theme park development initiative ever.
Being an unspoiled gift of Mother Nature, the Island occupied a unique place among all other man-made land-attractions as featured in the Walt Disney World Resort new mexico travel . Orlando resident and major Disney theme park fanatic, Jack visits the "World" multiple luxury travel spending habits times each week. His blogs will present you with current happenings and other bits of information that he finds of interest and hopes you do too.
I've had a number of requests to post more pictures of the early years of Walt Disney luxury travel spending habits World. So last night I dug through some of the Disneyana I've collected over the years. I'm hoping these scraps might help appease the voracious appetite luxury travel spending habits you all have for things Disney.
As many of you know, I worked at Disneyland from 1971 to 1980. During this time, cast members were given lots of free tickets to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. This first ticket is one such item. In the early years, transportation from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom was not free. It required a separate ticket. If you notice, the price was $1.50. Also notice, "Motor Trams" were one of the options.
luxury travel spending habits I know your first thought is this is incredibly cheap. But you have to remember, all this ticket did was grant you admission into the park. If you wanted to ride on something, you needed an A thru E ticket. Unfortunately, I don't have any of these tickets for Disney World, but I do have a complementary ticket book that contained five multi-use tickets.
These tickets luxury travel spending habits were not designated A thru E. Each ticket was good on ANY attraction in the Magic Kingdom. In other words, all of them were "E" tickets. Believe me, this was like gold back in the early years.
This next bit of memorabilia luxury travel spending habits centers around bus transportation. Dated 1989, this handout informed guests how to read the color coded pennants displayed on the front of each bus. Each destination had its own color or design. This was a complicated system luxury travel spending habits that thankfully, didn't last too long.
In later years, Disney started handing out elaborate sheets with a grid. First you would determine your current location from the left side of the sheet. luxury travel spending habits Then you would search for your ultimate destination across the top of the page. Where the two lines intersected gave you what modes of transportation were needed to get you there. Once again, this sheet does not have a date on it, but on the reverse side it notes the Coronado Springs as a future project, opening in 1997. So I'm guessing this was 1995 or 1996.

We rented from Fox in Phoenix, and from what is posted above, it seems that no one has had a problem

Never heard of them, and I rent cars all the time. My personal favorite this last year has been Dollar -- cheapest I've found; but once you check in, they try and get you to buy a zillion add ons -- you learn to say "no thanks" pretty fast.
Used Fox in San Diego and had no problems discount cheap eagles concert tickets at all. We had never heard of them either until that trip, understood they had been in San Diego and were the cheapest so we tried them, and will use them again on our next visit.
discount cheap eagles concert tickets Staff weere surly, would not get up from teh desk where they had their feet up on, left us standing in the gargare in plain site of the car type we reserved and stated those are reserved for someone else.
Car was filthy sticky, dropped the rental contract right in some sort of gooey mess on the dash and they never even said sorry when THEY had to use a crowbar to get it off the dash...had an unbelievable amount of miles on it and it rattled so much so we had to drive it back around the lot and return for a new one. I don't complain but this time I did: never got a response at all.
I have used them also in Orange County. I go there to visit my elderly mother, so I have plenty of stress. Once, on the shuttle from Fox to the airport, the traffic made the trip close to 40 minutes, and I vowed, discount cheap eagles concert tickets never again.
By the way, I locked my keys in the car at a gas station next door, and called Fox with my cell phone to see if they had extra keys. Shockingly, they said they had no extra keys. I can hardly believe that's the case.
This company discount cheap eagles concert tickets has the worst customer service. I tried to contact at least 6 times over the course of a few months regarding being over-charged for something. I only received 1 response months after my first few inquiries that did not address the issue, but asked me to call them again to restate discount cheap eagles concert tickets the problem- if I still wanted discount cheap eagles concert tickets to pursue it. This is AFTER I had taken the time to explain in great detail (including customer numbers, confirmation codes, dates, etc.). Also "if I want to pursue it"? Really? Would you not WANT to make sure your customers are fully satisfied? discount cheap eagles concert tickets Not Fox! Despite the frustration I had with their lack of attention to detail regarding even attempting to read my initial documentation- I called again to relay the specifics of the over-charge. I have yet to receive a response regarding my situation. Their version of customer service is pathetic and I am so disgusted with their lack of respect- I will GLADLY pay twice the amount to any other company just so I never have to deal with these awful people again. Yes, they may offer a lower price, but I personally would gladly pay someone more just to be treated with dignity, respect discount cheap eagles concert tickets and actually feel like a valued customer.
I had two problems with Fox. First at Las Vegas I had a reservation for an economy car and got there mid-afternoon and they had rented out the last 1. They were nice enough to rent me a Jeep CJ at the same price. The driving felt strange on I15 but I thought it was just the short wheelbase. When I got to Barstow, I checked the tire pressures and found 2 tires that were under 25psi.
The next time I rented from Fox they had the car at SLC. The rental agreement said the tank was full. It was barely above half. The tire pressure indicator came on. I drove back to the lot and they found that one of the tires was at 90psi.
I havent considered them in years never thought Fox would last this long. They gave me the impression they were a flybynight carbon paper and rubberband type outfit runing out cheap strip mall locations. Do they now at least have proper maintenance facilities for their cars?
I rented a 4x4 vehicle online. When I pick up my vehicle at their LA Airport facility, they gave me a regular front wheel drive (2x4) SUV. I asked the customer representative for many times if he could confirm the vehicle he is giving to me is a 4x4 because we are going to a snowy mountain. The customer representative insisted it's a 4x4. We asked another discount cheap eagles concert tickets customer rep. at the check-out booth before we leave the facility; the rep. insisted it's a 4x4.
After returning the car to the company, I wrote a detail letter to the manager and have my credit card company contacted them to dispute the charges. Not only they did not offer an apology, they don't even response to us. My credit card company approved the dispute. discount cheap eagles concert tickets I thought I m being kind by just let it go without asking an apology.
We rented from Fox in Phoenix, and from what is posted above, it seems that no one has had a problem with them in Phoenix, although there have been many problems discount cheap eagles concert tickets in other locations. discount cheap eagles concert tickets We rented a standard car and after checking in and going down to the garage area to get the car, the attendant told us to 'take any vehicle in row 'X" or whatever. I reiterated, 'take any vehicle', and she said 'yes'. I said, 'even the Jeep Liberty?'? She once again stated, "any vehicle in that aisle'. So the hub happily pulled out of the garage in the Liberty (which is the vehicle I drive at home so we were real comfortable in it), and off we went.
If I could give (-) Negative Stars.... I have been a customer of Fox Rent A Car for almost 2 Weeks. I have run into SEVERAL unpleasant experiences!!! I am now on my 4th car and unlike Thrifty Car Rentals, when I extended my contract I am NOW BEING CHARGED $10 EXTRA!! Whereas Thrifty would have changed my rate from Daily to Weekly (or monthly depending on how long I kept the car. Also My 1st car, Chevy Malibu, the breaks were bad and it needed an oil change, I "Swapped" for a Camaro, and had problems putting a last min car seat in the back so came back to "swap" for a full size car (the original booked car) and there was nothing but PREMIUM discount cheap eagles concert tickets or LUXURY cars on the lot... NOT WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!! I ended up waiting 2 hours (one employee even stated that they had gone to lunch came back and I was still standing in the lot!!!) I left with a Chrysler 300, I went around discount cheap eagles concert tickets the block when I noticed the gas tank was HALF A TANK!! I'm expected to bring it back on full, I expect to receive it on full. I took the car back they filled it but then I had to wait another 30 minutes for the paper work because they failed discount cheap eagles concert tickets to give it to me the first time and I need it to get on and off of base!!!! (my husband is active military discount cheap eagles concert tickets and I am retired military.) I returned the next day, the 300 was not what I wanted and had several problems with the actual car! I am now in a Nissan Altima I hope that this car is worth the $1284.00 discount cheap eagles concert tickets I am being charged for 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!! This is the worst company I have ever rented from and Will NEVER RENT from them again because they have not accommodated me to a degree that I believe acceptable.
If you need customer service you might as well go to an empty amphitheater and holler for help. The response is about the same. Ridiculous. They don't even get one star in my mind. I've called and left messages time and time again and no one ever calls back. They over charged us. Bottom line. Avoid this company!!!!!!!!!
Rented a car in San Francisco and got there to find we had no car. They got us a taxi which they offered to reimburse us for and said they would deliver a car to us the next morning. A 300 cab ride and 4 days later and we still have no vehicle. Totally ruined our vacation.
HEY GOOD NEWS!! Fox customer service finally contacted me and did give me my money back for the amount that they overcharged me. Just wanted to let you know that they did help me after being very persistent. Maybe I would use them again after all.
WARNING!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST RENTAL CAR COMPANY IN THE WORLD!! If you have any problems they will leave you on the phone for hours. They charged us 3 times for our rental and once we managed discount cheap eagles concert tickets to finally get to speak with a representative, they claimed they hadn't!!!! We still haven't gotten our money back!!! They are the absolute worst!! I had to share this because it has been the worst experience of my life!!
Rented out of Denver. Never again. Impossible to contact. They NEVER answer the telephone. I left several messages after leaving my eyeglasses in the car when returning it. I never received a reply. Earlier I tried to call with a question several times and noone answered. I emailed trying to get an answer and that was never returned. The car was horrible in the mountains. Not worth it. I'll go somewhere else.
Rented a car in Phoenix in Nov 2011. Forgot an iphone discount cheap eagles concert tickets in the car. Went to retrieve it. Car had been moved and readied for another rental. The phone was not where it was left. The phone was not turned into lost and found. My conclusion: the phone was stolen by a Fox employee. Your conclusion: ????. Would not use them again. I will pass the word.
BEWARE FOX RENTAL! We reserved discount cheap eagles concert tickets an SUV at San Francisco airport (SFO). Our flight was delayed only about 15 minutes. When we showed up at the counter (about 10:45 pm) we were told our SUV was no longer available as it had been rented out, and they had no replacements. We had a lab in a dog crate, two toddlers, lots of luggage, and only one driver. We couldnt fit in the compact car they offered us as a replacement. The solution from the staff was to take a cab to the place we were staying (across the bay) and then call another cab in the morning to take us to San Jose to get an SUV. The kicker was the rude employee who kept saying "What do you expect me to do about it?" So be careful from renting from these guys unless you enjoy being stranded at the airport...
I hope it's not too late for you. On Christmas eve, I rented a minivan for our trip in San Diego, the difference in price was almost 100.00. When we got there, they did not have the vehicle I had reserved discount cheap eagles concert tickets a month in advance, and tried to give me a Chevy Aveo instead. It would have been kind of complicated to sit 5 adults, a car seat, and luggage in a car that size.
They sent us to another rental company, and offered discount cheap eagles concert tickets to pay the difference. The car we received at the other place was smelly, discount cheap eagles concert tickets old and had a mileage discount cheap eagles concert tickets limit. At the end, we had to pay 30

Prattle Yelp (apparently in their quest to keep things honest) also filters out reviews that they do

Several days ago my granddaughter had to make a fast trip to Arizona to see her ailing father. She is leaving for Australia in a few days to be with her children and wanted to see Jimmy before she left. Unfortunately she does not have a credit card and "DOLLAR RENT A CAR" would not accept her debit card as payment for the one-way rental.  She called her mother and asked if she would sign the rental agreement but her mother war of the worlds tom cruise – my daughter Michele – was suffering the ill effects of a nasty case of Shingles and could not get out of bed.
Kyla and I went together to the DOLLAR RENT A CAR on Pacific Coast Highway where the first indication there might be a problem developed when they had two reservations for her. After clarifying the correct reservation, the following conversation was held between Kyla, the reservationist and me:
Two days later I looked at my statement and found that there was a $250 charge to my account. I immediately called Kyla, because she told me she returned the car before 6:00pm. In fact, I have a copy of the receipt war of the worlds tom cruise verifying that fact.  I called DOLLAR and this conversation ensued:
Judi:  My granddaughter and I were told that if she returned war of the worlds tom cruise the car before 10:00pm there would not be a $250 charge.  According to the receipt I have in my hand she returned the car at 5:44pm. Why is there a $250 charge?
Clerk:  Because she was supposed to return it to the DOLLAR RENT A CAR in Phoenix and she returned it to the Scottsdale DOLLAR war of the worlds tom cruise RENT A CAR. Phoenix needed cars in their fleet; war of the worlds tom cruise Scottsdale did not. Therefore there is a drop-off fee.
Judi:  My granddaughter called DOLLAR war of the worlds tom cruise RENT A CAR and asked them if she could drop the car off anywhere and was told "yes". She was not told that if she dropped it off at Scottsdale – only 15 miles from the Phoenix drop off – there would be a fee.
Today I had Kyla fax me a copy of the original agreement.  It does say that the car would be dropped off Sky Harbor , Phoenix  DOLLAR location.  But in reading the contract, no where can I find where it says that if it is not dropped off there I would be charged the $250 fee.
I called DOLLAR again this morning, and, basically I was told the same thing.  DOLLAR will NOT enter into any negotiation about refunding this fee; that I can dispute it all I want and it will not change the outcome. I owe the $250. Period. Their policy – must be an unwritten one since I can't find it in my contract – is that if the car is not dropped off where it is supposed to be dropped off there is a fee. In spite of an employee of DOLLAR telling Kyla it was all right for her to drop off the car at any location, I am out the $250.
I have been involved in disputes before.  I have gone to small claims before.  I have encountered hard-nosed employees that stick to the party line but have to back down when their supervisors tell them a compromise war of the worlds tom cruise is necessary.  I may lose this fight, but I will do my damnest to make sure that all of you reading this know about the problem I encountered war of the worlds tom cruise and think twice about renting from DOLLAR. This whole thing is so ironic because I have encouraged all of my students, all of my friends, to rent from DOLLAR because they have been so easy to work with and their prices were the best in San Diego. I might just have to file in Small Claims Court to have their "policy" made more public. And I certainly will let my Credit war of the worlds tom cruise Card Holder know that I am disputing the bill.  Stay tuned for the next chapter. (By the way Jimmy will be ok.)
I m thinking about going after AT T, but they re almost impossible to understand before they snap their lash, so complaining about them only makes me sound stupid. But you did a nice job on DOLLAR cars, which is good enough for me, cuz they re probably owned by AT T.
Thanks for the tip, Judi. I don t rent vehicles war of the worlds tom cruise very often, but in the odd event that I do, I will definitely either avoid Dollar, or make sure that I get everything the clerk says in writing, including what the reply is when I ask where does the vehicle have to be returned. That way if their cute little policy bites me, I can also expose the fraud. Further, I really war of the worlds tom cruise think just for grins and giggles and getting even more exposure to this kind of bait and switch war of the worlds tom cruise fraud that you should file in Small Claims Court.
Thanks for the encouragement re: small claims court. I have sent a copy of my article to the corporate headquarters of Dollar and if I do not hear from them in 10 days, small claims is where I will go next. The fat lady s vocal chords are getting a lot of practice!
Fight the good fight and keep us updated. Small Claims isn t glamorous and it certainly doesn t generate any headlines, but it does, however, serve as the great equalizer between consumer war of the worlds tom cruise David and corporate Goliath.
But since you ve already contacted Dollar corporate HQ, you really ought to give them the ten days before contacting Turko. That way you can present both sides to Turko and it will have that much more impact. Just my $0.02.
People! Say all you want about Yelp.com. but most people nowadays war of the worlds tom cruise KNOW that you MUST check a biz on Yelp first BEFORE you do any transactions with them. If nothing else, people war of the worlds tom cruise are pretty damn honest on there.
Judi, I just checked your Dollar Rent A Car on Yelp over 60 reviews and only ONE AND A HALF STARS out of FIVE! That is almost unheard of on Yelp! They look like total losers and I would still just copy and paste this article onto a review there if I were you and GO GET EM!
Thanks Mercy. I tend to forget about Yelp primarily because of some bad publicity recently. But thank you for checking it out for me. I have never had any trouble with Dollar in fact it was always my favorite war of the worlds tom cruise rent-a-car. But, of course, no more. I will now wait and see if I get an answer from the Corporate Office. (As my eldest said they don t know who they are dealing with! My granddaughter in question is the same young lady that was ousted from Southwest Air because her dress was too short!) Companies that want to screw this family better think twice about the genes we carry!)
Please note that Yelp is worthless as anyone can visit the site and delete/add comments as they like. I know of several businesses and nursing homes that have tasked an employee to keep watch over its Yelp ratings and that employee visits the site periodically to delete the negative comments and add fairy tales accordingly. The fact that Dollar has negative reviews war of the worlds tom cruise simply means that it hasn t been paying very much attention to its Yelp reviews.
WRONG Prattle on! No one can delete a review from Yelp except for the person that wrote it. They filter reviews out, good and bad, BUT you can read ALL filtered war of the worlds tom cruise reviews at the bottom of every page, for every business on there.
And companies that are diligent war of the worlds tom cruise about their social media watch, hire social media reps where that is all they do, is search all the sites for bad reviews and respond accordingly. The ones that don t, like Dollar, will suffer more in the end.
I don t work for Yelp, but I am on the Elite Yelp Team, so I know a thing or two about it. And say what you will, good or bad about Yelp itself, but it is THE fastest growing review site on the Internet. I ve heard it mentioned on TV shows, war of the worlds tom cruise in comedy series, and on menus. Even Phil s BBQ has a sign hanging out front that says, Over 1500, 5 star reviews on Yelp, before you start Yelpin let us start Helpin !
(2) I stated my opinion as fact because that has been my experience. Reviews are, in fact, deleted by the persons who wrote them, and in the instances I cited, those reviews were written by employees at the company being reviewed; That s hardly a ringing endorsement for credibility.
Prattle on you say you file legal complaints war of the worlds tom cruise for a living?? Really? Then how come you can NOT read something as obvious as I stated war of the worlds tom cruise above . I DON T WORK FOR YELP. I said I m on the Elite Yelp Team, which means I get invited to private Yelp parties every month for Elites only that restaurants hold for us. so we will return and hopefully give favorable reviews. NO ONE has ever offered to pay me money to write a review for them. Sometimes, we do NOT give favorable reviews to a place, EVEN if they have invited us to a private party there. As Judi stated in my defense (thanks Judi!) I am honest and maybe only the Elites that review on Yelp are But I know there are others. I have tons of friends who review for Yelp and they are very honest people.
I question Yelp s policy only in that they want business owners to pay them to put their link to their web site on their Yelp profile page. Other than that, you have to be selective in what you want to read into on reviews. After awhile on there, you can tell which are fake and which are not. When you see a lot of people with 1 or 2 reviews give a favorable one amongst many bad ones, you need to take that with a grain of salt .every pun intended!
Prattle Yelp (apparently in their quest to keep things war of the worlds tom cruise honest) also filters out reviews that they don t think are valid I recently gave a great review to a physician only to find that it had been filtered out within 24 hours! So between the false reviews that stay up, and the real reviews that get filtered out, Yelp is probably pretty useless!
When I read that Yelp s business owners were paying some people to write favorable reviews for them and were rewarded in cash, merchandise, etc., I stopped reviewing for them. Honesty seems to be a missing commodity in some of their reviews. I know that Mercy (see above) writes for them and I would never question anything she writes, but I do not know the others and do not trust the reviews anymore. Your experience, middle daughter, only proves a point.
As Dollar will likely be reading these comments, I d like to say plainly and clearly that if this atrocity of service isn t rectified, you ll never see the likes of me or my friends in your offices. This lady has greatgrandchildren! And you re going to stick it to her? Great going in adding war of the worlds tom cruise your twist to the American war of the worlds tom cruise way !
I wouldn t bother,
