Starwood Hotels Resorts Worldwide, based in Stamford, announced that its Aloft brand is scheduled to open in April 2015 in Louisville, Ky. Owned by REI Real Estate Services and Poe and managed by White Lodging Services, Aloft Louisville Downtown will feature 167 loft-like rooms, technology features and 2,000 square feet of business space.

Aloft Louisville Downtown will be in the city’s central business district, walking distance to the KFC Yum! Center, the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, Waterfront Park and the shops, dining and entertainment at the Fourth Street Live complex.
