This Thursday the Torrisi boys will finally debut their first non-Italian project, Dirty French in the Ludlow Hotel . The restaurant's menu will nod to New Orleans and Morocco book long stay accommodation but the space's design is caught somewhere between a French brasserie and a mountain lodge of the wealthy. Vaulted ceilings lined with exposed wood beams, sofas, banquets, and large chandeliers make the restaurant feel warm but spacious.

The cocktail menu at the Lobby Bar , which opened earlier this summer, will also be available at Dirty French. Master mixer Thomas Waugh of ZZ's Clam Bar crafted a menu of 11 house cocktails including the lilikoi made with cognac, rum, passion fruit, house falernum, lime, and bitters; and the chai matsuda made with chai-bourbon, Americano, cardamom, and orange bitters.
