It was my day off so I spent some time relaxing and reading a book this morning. Then I played the piano for a few minutes before venturing into the beautiful town of Pitlochry to check out the shops. I managed to find a nice winter jacket quality inn hotel a thrift quality inn hotel store, a definite need as it is getting colder every day.
After doing some shopping, I decided to venture to the church to steal Stef (the other Canadian chaperone) so we could go for a walk and get some food to celebrate. As I walked up to the church, several quality inn hotel of our girls ran at me with handfuls of leaves quality inn hotel and before I knew it we were in an all-out leaf-throwing fight! It was so much fun, and moments like that are what I most treasure on tour.
Stef and I were able to sit in a cafe and talk for awhile. We spent most of the time talking about what we are thankful for. Then we walked back to the church, I joined in a on a game of pass the parcel with Auntie Nicola and the kids, then walked back to my host family for some tea and devotional time.
When the girls returned home they of course ran at me with more hugs and wishes of Happy Thanksgiving. They played a board game until Tea (which usually means dinner here). My host auntie surprised us with what was very close to a Thanksgiving dinner! Roast chicken, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, and broccoli. No pumpkin pie for dessert, since it is actually quality inn hotel impossible to find here, but we had ice cream.
And what am I thankful for? Well, of course there are many things quality inn hotel represented right here in the photos. I'm so abundantly blessed to be here, with these people, loving these children. And of course very blessed to have a wonderful group of family and friends back home supporting quality inn hotel me. God is so good!
I will be spending the next season of my life touring as a chaperone with the 38th African Children's Choir. Feel free to follow my adventures as I live out of a suitcase and visit many places, together with 17 beautiful children and 9 other wonderful chaperones!
