Of all the wonderful places I got to see, I think Ireland was my favorite. Dublin had a delightful small-town charm, although it s a capital city, and it was actually pretty easy to navigate hotels in downtown seattle and get around on foot because it wasn t too large. The people were helpful, very welcoming, and so friendly. My friends and I felt at home right away! We had a great time sightseeing, hotels in downtown seattle taking tours, shopping, walking the city, and chatting with locals. We even caught a movie on a rainy Sunday afternoon!
This is the oldest remaining part of Dublin Castle. This part was built around the 1100 s! It was once a jail. There was one successful escape attempt hundreds of years ago. The escaped guy, who was the son of a pretty powerful man, ended up losing almost all his toes to frostbite because he and some buddies escaped hotels in downtown seattle in the winter and had to hide out in the snowy mountains for a few days. Gross!!
