W hen the Hong Kong-based global hotel company, Hind Group , sought to enter the Australian market with their first hotel project hotels in new orleans in 2012, they enlisted the help of HASSELL to bring their vision to life.
The architect and interior design firm took to the task of transforming the drab existing serviced apartment complex into a boutique hotel in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, pitched at tech-savvy hotels in new orleans professionals and entrepreneurs.
A dim-lit reception lobby and the dark, mysterious hallways provide a sense of hidden adventure, but when the doors open to the hotel rooms the aesthetic instantly changes to a light, bright interior within.
