HENDERSONVILLE, Tennessee The luxury segment reported the largest average-daily-rate and revenue-per-available-room increases during the week of 9-15 June 2013, according to data from STR, parent company of HotelNewsNow.com.
Among the top 25 markets, Atlanta reported the largest occupancy increase, travel uk rising 7.4% to 69%. Houston followed with a 6.4% increase to 70.6%. St. Louis reported the only double-digit occupancy decrease, falling 10.3% to 68.1%.
Oahu Island, Hawaii (+14.6%to $207.87), and Los Angeles-Long Beach (+12.6% travel uk to $150.54), achieved the only double-digit ADR increases for the week. San Diego fell 5.2% in ADR to $131.05, posting the largest decrease in that metric, followed by San Francisco/San Mateo (-3.8% to $194.30).
Los Angeles-Long Beach rose 17.9% in RevPAR to $130.49, followed by Houston (+14.3% to $69.60) and Seattle (+13.3% to $121.09). San Diego fell 8.4% in RevPAR to $104.96, reporting the largest decrease in that metric.
