Sixteen tour operators accompanied by two representatives of Tahiti Tourisme Japan and one representative of Air Tahiti Nui Japan were invited in French Polynesia as to discover or rediscover the destination and meet local operators.
The TravelMart is an operation that could be translated as Travel Market which consists in a meeting between the providers of Polynesian tourism and the persons in charge of tour operators on specific markets.
The Japanese professionals will begin their stay in French Polynesia by a familiarization trip whose purpose is to visit our islands and attractions . Two routes have been offered to the guests of the Group to highlight the diversity of our islands : the first group will discover the tourism products of the islands of Moorea and Bora Bora, and the second will fly to the Tuamotu atolls to snorkel in Tikehau and to dive in Rangiroa.
On the occasion of the 3rd edition dedicated to the Japanese market , these representatives of the largest tour operators and Japanese travel agencies will meet  26 local tourism partners during the workshop that will be be held on Thursday, February 20 from 8:00 am at the Radisson Plaza Resort christmas in the united kingdom .
The program for the day includes in the morning:  special individual appointments with providers of international hotel and the floating christmas in the united kingdom hotel , the Association of Family Hotels of Tahiti and her Islands and the introduction of products claimants of local tourism activities in the afternoon .
