A ship, with similar characteristics as the Disney Magic appears to be calling in Reykjavik and Akureyri Iceland on consecutive days in July 2015. The ship is unnamed, but the gross tonnage, length and passenger numbers match those that were listed on the  Geiranger, Norway port calendar.
Following last week s discovery of the calls in Norway, JB77 posted on the Cruise Critic forums that the Disney Magic is booked in Dover on the following dates which were also backed up by DISNEY FANTASY :
If indeed, the ship listed in Iceland is the Disney Magic, and based on the July 10th date in Dover, this could be longer sailing avis rental cars between the sailings in the Norwegian Fjords and a potential return to the Baltics.
As of now, the Disney Magic looks to have a series of unique itineraries bookend by the Transatlantic sailings in May and September 2015 with sailing to the Norwegian Fjords, a return the Baltics, and a late summer run in the Mediterranean. This all seems to fit Iger s statement during the FY 2013 earnings conference call that the focus at this time is on expanded itineraries, not new ships.

This is fantastic news, I love expanded avis rental cars itineraries. I think Iger is mistaken in that it needs to be *both* itineraries and ships. DCL cruises are still very full for the most part, I think it would benefit cruisers and the company alike to start production on another ship or two.
It would be great if they would release the rest of 2015 this week. I was a first timer on the Wonder on the last cruise out of Galveston in early January. Last month I received an offer in the mail from Disney for 10% of the booking of a 2014 or 2015 cruise but I have to use it by March 9th. It really seems like they would give me more choices for 2015 than just Jan thru April.
Can anyone tell me if booking a dummy cruise in order to retain the discount then switching to another cruise once the rest of the dates are released is as easy as people make it sound on the Disney message boards? Thank you.
It does work for the online booking discount (stateroom credit 10%) so I d guess it would also work for a mailer-based discount. You should try calling them, I ve always avis rental cars found the DCL reservation agents to be very helpful.
Looks like NYC will not be back on the schedule avis rental cars for the summer of 2015. Can t imagine why they don t come back to NYC, they sold out every sailing, and at prices that were ridiculous even by DCL standards.
Booked our second cruise (whilst on board the Fantasy last year), so we are now Silver Castaway club members. When Disney release the second part of 2015, I assume Silver members will get the opportunity to re-book/reschedule the cruise before general release??
