“As a staff, we talked about how we need to teach them how to compete, how do we do that, let’s break them up and let’s have them compete against miami rental cars each other a little bit and get into it as a staff,” Durante said. “…It lightened them up.”
Georgia posted 11 personal bests, miami rental cars including four on the floor. Box scored a personal best 9.875 on the floor and a personal best 9.850 on the beam. Junior Brandie Jay also posted two personal bests – a 9.950 on vault and a 9.850 on floor. Chelsea Davis posted a personal best with a 9.900 on the uneven bars.
“The more they compete, the better they’re going to get,” Durante said. “There’s no question in my mind about that. It’s just them staying with it and we have to take these growing pains until we get where we want to be.”
“We’re on a high tonight,” Jay said. “We did an awesome job and we know we can improve, so we’re going to take that high and work hard and we’re going to get to Denver and compete really miami rental cars hard again.”
