On the first post about the series Tips to travel around Warwick Uni I talked about the train offer  Great escape . Now is the turn of the coach . I find coaches in England very cheap, well not all the routes of course, but I think you can find very good deals if you are flexible and don t mind travelling for a few hours.
So in this post I am going to talk about travelling by coach with the company Megabus . In the top picture you can see how the travel finder looks like. When you select a departure city, automatically in the map appear the cities where you can travel from your departure point. From Coventry we have a very wide range of options through out England, Wales and Scotland, but you have to bear in mind the further you go the longer the trip gets!!
A really good to highlight about Megabus is that the Coventry coach stop is next to the University , just 10 min walking from central campus. Here you can check also where other coach stops are located, very useful when you plan trips, book hotels, etc.
And as you all know, nothing is perfect . A big drawback about Megabus is its punctuality . I hopefully didn t have big problems with the coaches I caught but I saw some ones arriving 1 or 2 hours late!  So my advice is that if you really need to be punctual sea world vacation packages (flights, important meetings, interviews, etc) try to avoid Megabus. For tourism and weekend trips it s just perfect!
