There's no staff either - with no reception and an entirely online booking system, you'll be provide
As the Easy empire has its signature orange hue (and how delicate it is), Omena Hotels smack you over the head with a healthy amount of red. Which is one thing your bank statement won’t be reading after a stay at this cheap and cheerful property in the, well, less cheerful area just behind the Central Station.
Unlike other budget travel health care jobs options (heads up Tune), you won’t have to pay extra for Internet, hairdryers or towels when you’ve booked one of the identikit rooms. Surprisingly big, they come with double beds and sleeping space for up to four via fold out chairs, and they even throw in a microwave and kettle for your convenience – and to make up for lack of an in-house restaurant.
There’s no staff either – with no reception and an entirely online booking system, you’ll be provided with door access codes to use from your arrival until they deactivate on departure. However, the TVs act as entertainment devices and watchdogs, so should you have any concerns, one button will get security up to your room.
Rates start at a bargain DKK 399 and then rise according to demand but rarely exceed DKK 700. And if you just want to turn up and try your chances for a last-minute room on the night, that works too, via neon signage showing the number of vacancies available.
