hello i am adding cruise on my 95 F250. I got the steering wheel with the buttons in it and the box that gose under the hood. I connected them up and dint work. Is there something i am missing or still need to do. thank you for ur help
I am surprised the wires/connectors were there. You will also need the pressure switch located near the master cylinder. This is the piece that was part of the cruise control oceanfront hotels biloxi ms recall. It's a pressure switch and adapter that taps into the brake line. This is what tells the PCM to disengage. It uses a vacuum servo instead of the electronic style the later models used. From what I can tell the brake light switch also disengages the cruise. Quite a bit different oceanfront hotels biloxi ms from the later model cruise control that use a separate switch mounted on the brake lines.
