When a bus is fully booked an extra bus is normally put on to provide extra capacity, if this event
At £49 per person (about US$ 78) its very good value, much cheaper than a private car and none of the hassle with taxi s at either end using public transport getting from your hotel to the London terminus and then again from Southampton rail or bus station to the cruise terminals. There is also the matter flight and hotel deals of not having to drag your luggage around with you or worry about exceeding luggage limitations.

We are wanting to book the shuttle to Southampton and wondered where the nearest pick up hotel was to our hotel. We are staying at the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum. Could you be so kind to let us know which pick up location to select.
We are staying at the Hilton in Terminal 5 not 4 on Poyle Road. Will the coach do a pick-up at the Hilton on Poyle? if not where should we go and how should we get there? flight and hotel deals there is 4 adults, is the cost the same for a taxi, bus or the hotel hoppa service?
Its of course no help to you but the take up up for this service has ben such that in 2013 the programme has been greatly expanded, and Royal Carrbiean cruise ships and Cunard will also be among those supported
How far ahead of travel flight and hotel deals date do we need to book We arrive at Heathrow Term 3 on 30 April will stay overnight and the need to go to Southampton May 1 to board Cruise. Also the hotels you pick up from close to Term 3
When a bus is fully booked an extra bus is normally put on to provide extra capacity, if this event occurs further out than 6 to 8 weeks before departure. On popular dates in 2012, up to 4 buses were run.
Closer to departure date, whether an extra bus is put on is a pragmatic decision factoring in availability of buses and tour managers at short notice as well as a commercial one on whether likely take up will cover the costs of extra vehicles.
All the mainstream hotels at Heathrow are linked to the passenger terminals by Hoppa Buses run by the airport authority. The hotels flight and hotel deals are not allowed to run their own shuttles. These Hoppa buses currently cost 4 GBP flat fare to all hotels
Premier Inn M4/J4, Premier Inn Terminal 5, Novotel, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn M4/J4, Holiday Inn Bath/Sipson Road, Park Inn, Marriott Heathrow (Bath Rd), Renaissance (Bath Rd), Radisson Edwardian, Sheraton Skyline, Sheraton, Thistle.
The Terminal 5 Premier Inn is nowhere near Terminal 5 and there is a McDonalds, a Chinese flight and hotel deals restaurant and you can walk into Longford village where there are pubs, the M4/J4 Premier Inn is very isolated.
The Holiday Inn Bath Road, Renaissance, Sheraton Skyline, Park Inn, Radisson Edwardian and Marriott are all clustered along the same stretch of road and unlike some of the other hotels you can escape flight and hotel deals the hotel prices for food and drink to convenience stores, pubs, McDonalds flight and hotel deals and the like as well as being serviced by local buses
The reason for this is that coaches are not allowed to just pull up in front of passenger terminals at Heathrow. Coaches have to enter a compound, pay a fee and get a pass for each terminal and its all geared around a coach meeting a specific flight so its very time consuming,
The list of Heathrow hotels that coaches pick-up from are on the trip detail page. All of these are serviced by Hoppa Buses that service all the Heathrow hotels from each passenger terminal, (there are no individual complementary hotel shuttles). These cost 4 GBP per person. If you are using Terminal 5, the 423 public bus runs about every 20 minutes and stops by the Premier Inn Terminal 5 and is free. From Terminals 1 and 3 you can walk to the bus station and get the 105,285, 111 or 140 public flight and hotel deals buses that pass the Park Inn, Renaissance, Marriott and Sheraton Skyline after exiting the airport. These buses also are free.
The Hilton Terminal 4 and Sofitel Terminal 5 are attached to passenger terminals but the concierge and porters in these police the foyer and make sure any bus turning up is only collecting people that have stayed in the hotel overnight.
