And the impact isn’t over yet, even if the water has retreated from LaGuardia’s jetbridges. New York

A number of times a year, a big storm sweeps rodeway inn skyland through an area, forcing airlines to pull back their schedule until the blizzard, thunderstorm or whatever moves on. But Hurricane Sandy, or Superstorm Sandy as it also became to be known, was something special.
The heavy rain and high winds by themselves forced airlines to cancel countless rodeway inn skyland flights, and the storm surge left parts of airports, particularly New York's LaGuardia Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport under water.
In all, airlines cancelled more than 20,000 flights from the time the storm approached the East Coast in the last days of October until it played itself out in early November. Airlines had to move their airplanes out of a number of airports including the New York, Newark and Philadelphia airports.
Airlines are still counting up their losses. American Airlines estimated that its revenues dropped $65 million in October and November because of Sandy. US Airways said the storm reduced its earnings by about $20 million in November. Delta estimated that the storm reduced revenues of $75 million and profits by $45 million. United Airlines counted a $140 million revenue rodeway inn skyland impact for October and November, and a $35 million profit hit in October.
And the impact isn't over yet, even if the water has retreated from LaGuardia's jetbridges. New York City schools have scheduled three makeup days during their traditional February winter break, disrupting a lot of planned vacations. Carriers are offering flexibility rodeway inn skyland for travelers who need to change their tickets
