This past Friday was our biggest adoption fundraiser so far. We had a big spaghetti dinner and silent auction tours of scotland and ireland at the church I grew up and I'm so happy to say that it was successful. tours of scotland and ireland We had so many people show up to support our family and the journey to bring Titus home. There was fun competition over the silent auction items and so many people tours of scotland and ireland interested in learning about the adoption process tours of scotland and ireland and our journey thus far.
We were blessed to have people donate all the money needed for the purchase of the food and plates/silverware so everything we made was 100% profit ! So awesome. We had friends and family donate Texas Rangers tickets, round trip airline tickets, and some of my online friends donated things too. And, of course, all of our family and friends that showed tours of scotland and ireland up to cook, set up, serve, and tear down. The success of the fundraiser was first and foremost tours of scotland and ireland a God thing but definitely wouldn't have been possible without tours of scotland and ireland all of the people He has put in our lives and blessed us with.
I used prints from our home (Globe is a discontinued print from here . Romans 8:15 print can be found here ) and repurposed the spaghetti sauce jars + a little burlap fabric for some of the flower center piece vases.
The bowl of bracelets that you see is another fundraiser we've been doing through The Apparent Project . If you have any big fundraiser needs coming up (adoption, mission trip, big purchase for a church ministry, etc.), you should really check out The Apparent Project . You can help others while fundraising for your own cause. Love that.
So great! We are in the process if adopting two kids from Uganda nd the cost can be so daunting at times. But the generosity of others is amazing. Where are you adopting from? Reply Delete Kerrie Williams June 17, 2013 at 12:05 PM
This is so impressive! Praise God! It looks like you have an amazing community surrounding you right now, and what a blessing that is. Looking forward to following along in your journey... ;) Reply Delete Nadine June 17, 2013 at 7:44 PM
That s exciting how much you raised! I planned a fundraiser for my friends who are church planting and that was on Friday. It was such a great night to celebrate! Reply Delete Julie S. June 19, 2013 at 3:55 PM
