I did a Disney cruise with my adult daughter and dukey is right the kids do disappear during the day. The productions were excellent - again Disney themed but very entertaining. job accommodation network Although I appreciate the food on cruises and am happy not to have to cook I found the food didn't come up to the standard job accommodation network of other lines. Having to rotate dining rooms was more for the kids to experience the different themes. I enjoyed job accommodation network the cruise but wouldn't do it again.
If you like Disney, then I think you'd enjoy a Disney cruise. All the ships do have adults-only spaces where you can avoid kids. But if you're not into Disney, then Royal Caribbean may be a better job accommodation network choice for you. Having said that, I think you may be looking at shorter cruises since most Disney cruises are 3 or 4 days rather than 7 (though the newer ships are more geared from longer cruises and do more long itineraries). On a shorter cruise you'll generally be on an older ship without all the newest bells and whistles, in which case Disney may offer more for you. But those cruises typically cost more as well.
I agree with the other commenters that it depends on if you are a "Disney" person or not- you may appreciate it a little more if you are. My husband and I are a younger couple with no kids, and we LOVE the Disney cruise line. Their spa is fantastic. The food is good as well- I will concede job accommodation network that it is not the best food when compared to some of the other cruise lines, but I still enjoyed it. I love the theming in the dining locations, particularly on the new boats. They also have the "Adult Experience" dining at their speciality restaurants. It's worth the upcharge! The food is amazing!
job accommodation network I think Disney has the best adults-only area of any cruise line that I have been on. I really like Disney's first run movies job accommodation network (yes, they have stuff for adults, too!), shows (broadway style musicals with a plot, not just Vegas style reviews of song after song), and adult night entertainment. The fireworks are pretty job accommodation network spectacular as well.
The other person wasn't exaggerating about Castaway Cay. It's amazing! Disney costs a little more, but I think it is well worth it. We've been on several Disney cruises, and we're planning another one now.
Also, have you considered a Holland America cruise? Most of their clientele is slightly older- not a lot of kids running around everywhere. We did a Holland America cruise back in April, and we LOVED it. Very classy, and a lot of fun!
