The company is boosting its customer base by expanding its high-tech ExpressRent time travel books virtual rental kiosks to 55 locations across New York City. The ExpressRent kiosk is a live interactive system that functions without a physical agent present. The system allows the customer to remotely communicate via video with rental agents. The kiosks serve as a supplement to the company s 15 New York City Locations.
ExpressRent allows patrons to customize rentals by pickup location, car type, length of trip and additional services available through time travel books Hertz. The electronic system allows the customer to access the database of cars and pay for the rental by credit card.
Many New Yorkers don t own cars, and there s high demand for easily accessible rental options on short notice. ExpressRent kiosks give customers increased convenience to rent whenever they choose from a location close to their home or workplace, Hertz Chairman and Chief Executive time travel books Officer Mark Frissora said in a statement. "Already, rentals booked at Hertz s ExpressRent kiosks represent more than 10 percent of our New York City transactions. We re expanding this industry-leading innovation to make it even easier for New Yorkers to get the car they want when they want it.
Hertz has about 725 ExpressRent kiosks in the United States and Europe. The kiosks are open 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Hertz has 24-hour retail locations at the LaGuardia, JFK and Newark Liberty International time travel books Airports.
