The Disney Magic s transformation at the Navantia shipyard in Cadiz, Spain, is coming to an end this week.  According to previous reports from the Disney Parks Blog , the Disney Magic is on schedule and set conclude her time in dry dock on Thursday. all inclusive honeymoon cruises Work will continue during her transatlantic crossing. In last week's update , we saw the Disney Magic with some fresh primer along with some teasers from Disney Cruise Line, as well as the all new deck plan. In this week's update, we see much more than a fresh coat of paint going back on to her hull.  We received great photos from some of the refurbished interior spaces, and some quacktastic fun on the upper deck!
Let s get started by watching some fresh paint dry.  Here we have a view of the bow near the crew pool deck.  The good news is that the best Hidden Mickey is still on featured on the bow.  There was a little bit of debate after it was omitted from the renderings all inclusive honeymoon cruises released back in April .
Over the past few weeks we have been seeing more of Andy s Room.  To build on the reveal  @DisneyCruise  tweeted a few more pictures this week.  The first features the lovable Hamm, a poster of Woody s Roundup, and a glimpse inside Pixie Hollow.
Our next stop is Cabanas, where we will start with new deck panel being hosted and positioned into place. In the background, you can see the Silja Festival that has been the home away from home for the contractors working on the transformation of the Disney Magic.

Compared to the size of the previous chandelier and those on the Dream and Fantasy this appears small, but I am going to withhold my final verdict until I see it in its full glory.  I am wondering if the chandelier will have some sort of animated lighting effect after comparing it to the original rendering.

Take this with a grain of salt During a Castaway Club reception in June 12 on the Fantasy an officer told us the upper decks were being redone. During the same conversation he said something all inclusive honeymoon cruises about a quarter billion dollar update. Now, my memory all inclusive honeymoon cruises is foggy, I am not sure if he was talking about Magic Wonder combined or individually.
I m so bummed that some of the pretty lines of the ship will be gone with the addition of the aquadunk and the new twist slide. There is no unobstructed view of the awesome stacks now. I ll miss the mickey hand holding all inclusive honeymoon cruises up the kid slide it was my favorite iconic photo of the ship the mickey hand with the red stack. Also really gonna miss the double staircase. I will not miss the old staterooms, however!
Happly to see the Australian touch! The Aussie flag was not represented on the waiters vests during our sail last year. Down under and forgotton but not anymore. Looking forward to our Alsakan cruise on the Wonder next year. Love the blog.
