Planning a trip abroad? It s probably best to check out the State Department s list of travel warnings for countries with unsafe political situations. At the moment, the State Department has issued travel warnings anaheim vagabond executive inn for 34 countries, from the Central African Republic and El Salvador to Iraq and North Korea. Well, just as State warns Americans about dangerous places to travel, so too do foreign ministries anaheim vagabond executive inn in other countries and some countries warn their citizens to avoid heading to certain cities in the U.S. France, anaheim vagabond executive inn in particular, warns travelers to be careful in a large number of specific cities. Here s what other countries, mostly France, say about American cities:
One of the things anaheim vagabond executive inn I see in common with these supposed dangerous cities are that they re focus predominately on places where Blacks, Latinos or Asians reside at.Judging by this list, these people have no idea what they re talking about and they re generalizing the citizens of these cities. anaheim vagabond executive inn I m from the dangerous Southern part of Atlanta and let me say that my neck of the woods is no more dangerous than Midtown or Uptown ATL. Sure, Im not going to pretend that crime exists in my city, but anaheim vagabond executive inn it s even more predominate in upper Atlanta. More crime have been committed in Midtown Atlanta, especially when you live in the Atlantic Station/Homepark area with many of college students living there. With uptown Atlanta(Buckhead), they also have lots of crime, but sometimes they don t always anaheim vagabond executive inn let it be known because they do not want their ritzy enclave to have crime. My mom once worked in a restaurant some years back. A robbery anaheim vagabond executive inn unfolded, when media came to investigate the incident, the restaurant told them not to do it. I felt bad for the poor patrons whose lives where unknowingly at risk because this place were more worried about images than lives. If the French knew anything about the Southside ( in Atlanta.they would know more about it. Did those same people know where Tommoroworld was held at? Sure, it took place in Chattahoochee Hills Ga,but anaheim vagabond executive inn it s also part of South Atlanta or how about Serembe, Ga( not far from it). They re both in the Southside of Ga,but it s quiet..perhaps a little too quiet for me,but it goes to show how people can be misinformed abut places that more than likely ,never visited. Even with the urban Southside , I see more White people moving more intown. If the French tourism ministry is going to warn people about places, they need to go by facts. The problem that I have with these stats is that they don t show every thing about people, places or things. I cannot anaheim vagabond executive inn trust them because in this case it tends to be racist and dishonest. When it comes to minority neighborhoods, these people are quick to show crimes stats but when it comes to mostly anaheim vagabond executive inn White affluent communities..as I ve mentioned on here..are very slow to admit to their s because, they want you think that crime only belong to us. Far as France, as a Black American, anaheim vagabond executive inn I wouldn anaheim vagabond executive inn t feel anymore safe going there than some other hot spot. Here are my concerns about their cities/country 1) Not sure if they re honest about their crime stats and 2) Lately, France have been having some serious hate crime problems. I mean, as a minority, why should I feel safe with that? Just as much as their ministry is warning people to steer clear of minority communities( yes , I said it honestly), I would be afraid that a Neo-Nazi will attack me because of my race. Oops..one thing about Atlanta is downtown. It s amazing how people can call it dangerous. Anybody will tell there is NOTHING down there. Boring, uninspiring? sure but far as crime, there s some, but no where near as bad as the other parts of Atlanta I ve mentioned because there isn t too much to do there. Midtown/Uptown, there where all the shops and people hang out at. I think the real problem( and what I m about the mention) is that downtown has a lot of Black people that hang there and when they hang out like that all sorts of racial codes comes to their minds: rape, rob, sell drugs. Just look at the place and the demographics and you ll get the picture of they kind of people they re referring to. Who are they trying to fool? Not me for sure.
