Most hotels in Playa don't have a parking space, but make sure you don't park where there is a yellow line on the sidewalk, as the cops will take your plate off and fine you. But around your hotel youshould find some parking space...although I highly suggest renting a car only for the days when you will want to travel outside Playa...in Playa you don't need a car, and its just too expensive to rent it to keep it parked!

If you go to that office, they will make you head out to the Hertz office on highway 307. Unless they have changed, it is not worth the bother to go to the 5th Ave office. Anyway, all of their vehicles are at the agency on 307.
Hertz actually brought harrahs casino las vegas the car to me at 10th but it was a stick and I asked for automatic...so we had to go to the highway to get it..too much hassel. There are lots of car rentals up and down the 5th area..just stop and check rates while you are walking around.
I am going to wait till We arrive, I have a few days to figure out if I want to get one or if it would be more of a hassle...Its very hard for me to just wing it .. I tend to be an obsessive planner ..
We stayed harrahs casino las vegas in Playa for 4 nights, and got the car on the last morning (early) to go to Tulum for 3 nights. They had it down on 5th for us, at their office. It was early, when the street open to vehicular traffic for deliveries. We drove half a block on 5th and turned off it. Went to our hotel and picked up our stuff and headed to Tulum.
...also harrahs casino las vegas do not park in where they are planning to paint the curb yellow and put up a sign some time in the future. You'll get a ticket and lose your plate (someone has to pay the paint and the new sign).
