Next we went on to view their 50 ft. indoor swimming pool that is surrounded by Roman-style columns

Recently my colleague and I had the opportunity to do some hotel inspections in our lovely city of Chicago. Since we are new to the industry and have never had the opportunity to view some of the hotels downtown it was a day of excitement for both of us.
Our first trip of the day was to The Four Seasons Hotel  located on the Magnificent Mile. We started with breakfast in their newly remodeled layout of celebrity cruise line ships restaurant, Allium. The food was wonderful and well-priced. They feature American cuisine with a seasonal menu that has meats and vegetables from local farmers. I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy a nice cocktail with friends or to have a delicious meal with the family.  This hotel has 345 rooms with lake or city views.  We saw elegant guest rooms and some of their luxurious suites. The one that made an impression on me the most is their Presidential Suite; it has its own fitness room with three full marble bathrooms, plus guest powder room, a full private bar and a separate dining room.  And the view from this room is absolutely breathtaking. All of their rooms feature an iPod docking stations and in room safes.
Next we went on to view their 50 ft. indoor swimming pool that is surrounded by Roman-style columns with a domed glass ceiling.  Try a swim at night and look up into the night sky filled with stars. They also have a fitness center complimentary for their guests that come complete with locker rooms, a steam room, sauna, and showers. The Four Season's Spa offers private spa treatment rooms that are soundproofed which include massage rooms, a wet treatment layout of celebrity cruise line ships room, and a manicure/pedicure room.  The spa is also open to the public.   All in all it is an absolutely elegant hotel that I would recommend to any client that wants to stay in downtown Chicago.
