Hosted by the Cape Fear Soccer montreal luxury hotels Association, the Seaside Soccer Classic provides montreal luxury hotels a fun, safe, and competitive opportunity montreal luxury hotels for teams of all levels. The tournament is open to all Club teams that regularly participate in challenge and classic league play. According to event organizer Antonio Saviano, this year’s tournament will host 304 teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Tennessee. Each team consists of an average of 16 players. All but 15 local teams will travel from out of town. Each of the 4,489 players montreal luxury hotels is expected to be accompanied by three or four family members. Additionally, 300 coaches and 100 referees are expected to travel with the teams.
During the two-day tournament, the majority of the participants and their families will stay at area hotels, and shop, dine and play in local establishments. Due to the large size of this tournament, teams will patronize a variety of hotels in New Hanover County. Ten of the visiting teams booked rooms in surrounding counties. The Hilton Garden Inn at Mayfaire (6745 Rock Spring Rd., Wilmington) is the 20th Annual Seaside Soccer Classic official host hotel . This year’s mandatory registration will take place at Dick’s Sporting Goods (816 S. “Based on participant numbers provided by event organizers, we estimate that the 2013 Seaside Soccer Classic will generate approximately montreal luxury hotels $2.6 million in direct visitor spending in New Hanover County,” states Kim Hufham, President/CEO montreal luxury hotels of the New Hanover County Tourism Development Authority. “Using a conservative 2.5 multiplier, the total economic impact of this tournament will be approximately $6.6 million.”
Sponsored by Jeff Gordon Chevrolet, the 2013 Seaside Soccer Classic will take place at several soccer fields in Wilmington, including: Cape Fear Regional SoccerPlex, UNC-Wilmington (4 fields), Hugh MacRae Athletic Park, Veterans Park, Murray Middle School, Ashley High School, Eaton Fields, Ogden Park, Castle Hayne Park, Trask Middle School, and various public school athletic fields.
“We are very excited this year—not only is the Seaside Soccer Classic celebrating 20 years in 2013, but we have also reached our goal each year for the past five years. This year we have 304 teams, the largest number ever,” said Antonio Saviano, CFSA’s Tournament Director. “Without the support of New Hanover County, the City of Wilmington, and UNCW and the use of their excellent sports facilities, this tournament would not be possible.”
