hello, a friend and i are doing a round the world tour starting in november, we will be in the states at the beginning of february, las vegas is on the list. we are on a tight budget accomodation wise, and were planning to hostel it. a travel airline flight map agent told us that the prices of hotels in vegas are really cheap at the moment. what hotels airline flight map (on the strip or near preferably) would be a a good place to stay and cheap ?

I recommend this hotel because it is not only very inexpensive but it has an excellent location. To get there from the airport, take a shuttle. These cost about $6 per person ($12 round trip) and can be found right outside the arrivals area of the airport. They have kiosks set up righ there you can just walk up and buy a ticket. The shuttles stop right nearby and they drop you directly at the entrance to your hotel. You cannot walk from the airport to the Strip. It is not accessible by foot due to security considerations.
