Karnivool have aligned with Density Records for the coming U.S. release japan escorted tours of their new album Asymmetry . While the album will hit stores on July 19th in the bands native Australia, an exact North American release date for the outing remains pending.

I think each time Karnivool walk into another record we all want to explore new ground. We want to open the door to our musical basement, switch the light off and tumble down the stairs into god knows what. Each time we switch the light on again we are a different band.
A deluxe version of the album will also be offered up overseas and will come with a bonus live DVD capturing a professionally filmed set the band played at The Forum in Melbourne, Australia. It will be titled Live At The Forum and run as follows:

Everything about this post is good news. KIller song from what should be an epic album. Cool film clip. Sweet dvd setlist. Nice tour. I just hope it can all live up to Sound Awake for me, which i still feel is one of the best albums to come out of Australia for a good while. Shit, even ok from these guys is still pretty fucking good.
This is my favorite band of all time and it s my fucking birthday. This is seriously the best birthday present I ve gotten today and my parents wired me $200. Fuck money, I m gonna get new Karnivool!
