It is quite obvious in my day one and day two blog posts, that I had an incredible time! Not only did I partake in delicious food and awesome adventures, I also stayed in fantastic accommodations! I just have to tell you about it!
When I first found out where we were staying, I immediately looked it up online. carlisle village inn I was all kinds of curious about the hotel. The pictures on the main website were lovely, and the amenities sounded incredible, I couldn't wait to check it out!
When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and got the most superb service from Milka! When I saw her a few days later, she remembered me and asked me about my stay. She and all the rest of the staff I encountered were very welcoming.
Once I settled in, I walked around the grounds, I quickly realized that the images online don't do justice for the place itself. In fact, I was so impressed with the Hilton Grand Vacations that we paid to stay there one more night!
As a flight attendant, I stay in a lot of hotels, and I can attest that most of them have a similar bar and room service menu. Options always feel limited and most of the time I end up walking somewhere to get something to eat. Well, at the Hilton Grand Vacations I was impressed with the non-standard options. While they do offer room service comforts, they don't stop there. They have a mini market and restaurant right on site!
Having a market with all the essentials carlisle village inn was VERY handy during my stay! The Provisions Market Fresh Deli provides an excellent carlisle village inn selection of groceries, spirits, carlisle village inn and specialty food items. When I realized I forgot a razor? I just picked one up at the mini market – without firing up the rental car and driving to the nearest shop! How convenient!
Now, I know having carlisle village inn a mini market onsite carlisle village inn is familiar in many extended stay hotels, but are they ever affordable? I can seriously tell you that getting a breakfast and coffee in the morning here was cheaper than anywhere nearby! The croissant with ham, cheese and egg was my go-to in the mornings! I liked it so much I got it two days in a row! There was an option to combine carlisle village inn it with a grande Starbucks coffee for only $5.95. Not a bad deal, right?
Beyond the market, there was a poolside restaurant that I had breakfast in as well as late night pool cocktails. The Coral Reef Bar and Grille is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and happy hour! The breakfast was pleasing to all at the table, but the drink service was slow at night (mind you there was a lot of people at the pool still).
The suite didn't fall short on any level. There was a stackable washer and dryer and provided laundry detergent that came in handy for drying soaked clothes (read my trip post to read about the rainy weather we had).
The kitchen was large enough that it was ideal for cooking and eating in comfort. There was a full size refrigerator (great for restaurant leftovers), oven with range and microwave! The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, mixing carlisle village inn bowls, serving dishes and even a blender! This kitchen had more in the cupboards and drawers than what my husband had in his kitchen while we were dating!
Next to the kitchen was a large dining room table that seated carlisle village inn six! Along with a spacious storage closet and couch with chair, the living spaces were similar to the convenience of your own home. This is great for families or week long trips!
Maybe the best part of this elegant room was the large bath and contemporary carlisle village inn bedroom. The bathroom included a giant whirlpool tub and separate shower. There were two sinks and gorgeous marble carlisle village inn everywhere. The bed was a heavenly bed – one that was hard to get out of, even if the activities for the day were very enticing. The bed felt just like sleeping at home – comfortable, clean and cozy!
Staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations felt like home. With the multiple separate rooms of the suite, it was basically an apartment. It included everything you'd need down to the laundry basket! The suite was elegant yet allowed for practical living.
The drive from the Orlando International Airport is just 15 minutes to the hotel. Once there, the Hilton Grand Vacations Suites at SeaWorld is surrounded by some of the world s most famous attractions, including Walt Disney carlisle village inn World®, Universal Orlando® and SeaWorld® Orlando. It is very centrally located.
We spent a day at SeaWorld, and it literally is right across the street. You can even see the fireworks from the hotel room balcony! While we opted to take the complimentary shuttle to SeaWorld, you could easily walk right there!
The complimentary scheduled shuttle is a great way to get to and from SeaWorld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove and Universal Studios in Orlando. We also spent a day at Disney World, it wasn't but a 15 minute drive there.
I got a sneak peek (thanks to the manager at Hilton Grand Vacations) of the Kid's Club. This colorful big playroom is an air-conditioned carlisle village inn fun zone! There are games, computers, toys and crafts. I got to check it out before the kids came in for the day. The crafts were still on the table from the day before. The kids had just painted some ceramics!
The Kid's Club is a good option for the adults that want to leave their kids in good hands for an afternoon or two. It is supervised and the kid's will surely have fun with all the cool activities that are planned.
I was so impressed by the pools that I made it its own section! The hotel has 3 expansive swimming pools, 5 whirlpool spas and 2 children's wading pools. The main swimming pool has a large waterfall feature, that I had a relaxing time getting drenched under.
When I was walking around the grounds in the morning there was a swimmer peacefully and uninterrupted doing laps in the pool. At night the pool area was active until 11pm, when everything closed. This is my sister and me enjoying some late night Piña Coladas!
Movies at the Pool! One really unique activity is on Tuesdays and Saturdays the hotel plays a movie outside at the fountain pool! The movie calendar for the month in which I stayed included Toy Story, Warm Bodies, The Sandlot carlisle village inn and Escape from Planet Earth. This neat program is called carlisle village inn "Dive In Movie", cute right?
Designed to evoke the style of a Bermudian seaside village, the sprawling 30-acre resort features an extraordinary collection of on-property amenities! Beyond the above mentioned pools and kid's programs, the property also features spacious lounge areas that are great for meeting a group or relaxing in a comfortable sitting area (or if you are my sister – falling asleep on the couch while waiting for breakfast!). I was pleased carlisle village inn with the amount of comfortable public seating both inside and outside. It is a huge pet peeve of mine when staying at a hotel – finding nowhere to sit when meeting a party in the lobby.
Right off of the lobby there was a complimentary business center. We used this daily to print off park tickets, check in for our flight home and search for a place to eat. Having carlisle village inn complimentary use of computers and printers is a nice feature that I always appreciate in a hotel.
Although I never got to watch a movie on the screen, there is an on-site 50-seat movie theatre you can for rent for private showings. I think this is also where the movie night happens when it is not by the pool.
When I walked about, I kept running into awesome features carlisle village inn that I had wished I had time to enjoy – like the tennis courts, sports courts, shuffleboard, pool tables, barbeque grills and playground. I walked around all of the gorgeous buildings carlisle village inn and the trail behind the lake on the property. The walking or jogging trail is a quick quarter-mile carlisle village inn right behind the buildings. This resort had it all!
While I usually don't partake in workouts (just me), I did check it out the workout facility to see how it compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The rectangular room was a simple, had new-looking equipment carlisle village inn and was clean. The fitness center was right off of the pool area and included an adjacent massage room – awesome!
The accommodations were incredible! From the food options to the staff, everything was comfortable and clean. The whole experience we had at the Hilton Grand Vacations was extraordinary (We even booked an additional night there so we could stay longer! We didn't want to stay anywhere else!)
I got a little sneak peak of what it might be like to win a Great Getaway from Hilton Honors. They sent me on a weekend vacation to Orlando, Florida to experience a Great Getaway! And now you can too! You can enter to win one of the FOUR trips being given away!
Booking a vacation just got simpler with all of Hilton HHonors low rates around the world! The Great Getaway pricing offers hotel rates for as low as $100! You can stay at this hotel or hotels in the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and beyond!
