You know those Mickey ears that everyone seems to want? The base price is around $13 before you star

For an adult to spend one day in one park it now costs a whopping $95. Children can still enjoy one day at one park for less than $90 though one dollar less . This six dollar increase is causing people to lose their minds, and the happiest place on earth suddenly seems like the darkest. Don t think the west coast is getting away scott free, though: California s Disney Land also raised prices now making payless car rental tampa the adult one day price $92 and the children s price $86.
Some might say,  Okay, so my family of four can still enjoy a day at the park for less than $400, trying to find the silver lining. And sure, of course you can enjoy one day in one park for less than $400 as long as all you do is go to the park. However, much like the children s book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie , if you take a child to a theme park they are going to want well, everything.
You know those Mickey ears that everyone seems to want? The base price is around $13 before you start customizing them ($15 if you want Minnie ears.) A children s t-shirt runs just shy of $20, going up to $30 if you want an adult size. The base price for a stuffed animal is $15. And let s not even talk about the price of food. You are much better off just bringing your own, no matter how delicious those giant turkey legs look.
So regardless of the ticket hike, Disney World is still just a ridiculously expensive family vacation. Especially if you need to travel to get there. There is some light in all the darkness though, as Disney has not raised the price of the multiple day tickets or the park hopper tickets. So there s that.
