If the the cops in Rochester have time to carry out petty grudges against citizens who dare to show

The video below is from a Rochester, New York, neighborhood meeting in support of Emily Good , the woman arrested for videotaping a traffic stop from her front yard. So Rochester police sent four squad cars to ticket vacation virtual tours the cars of meeting attendees who parked more than 12 inches from the curb. Yes, they even brought a ruler.
By the way, due to a $50 million budget shortfall , the city of Rochester is considering cutting 27 full-time police positions. If the the cops in Rochester have time to carry out petty grudges against citizens who dare to show support for a woman who was illegally arrested, maybe the city ought to consider cutting 40 or 50 positions instead. They could start with the cops in this video.
I did an Emergency Medicine vacation virtual tours clerkship at Rochester General Hospital back in 1983. I was surprised by how much the physicians despised the Rochester Police. (This was a big contrast vacation virtual tours to my rotations in Brooklyn where the police were, for the most part, respected by hospital physicians.) On the second vacation virtual tours day of my ER rotation, I saw a patient who had been arrested. The arresting officers were unmarked, but the patient had multiple face and head contusions, some with split skin. The police had ratcheted the handcuffs so tight that one of the man s wrist bones was broken. These types of injuries on arrestees were common.
This kind of behavior shows that the good cop is a myth. Where were the good cops when this kind of thuggery was taking place? A good cop who stands by and does nothing when his department does these kinds of things may as well not exist.
I think they know exactly what they are, but it s like belonging to an exclusive fraternity where the fact that they are despised by everyone is outweighed by the status they feel at being part of a special privileged group. They re assholes and proud of it.
paranoiastrksdp thanks vacation virtual tours for dox. I hope they have an air-gapped backup somewhere, because I for one am recommending that this site be added to the list of approved target vacation virtual tours for @lulzSec s Operation #AntiSec.
Also: interesting that he has a photo of himself in his professional thug outfit on his dog-selling site I thought that sort of thing was frowned upon. Although I deplore people who do things through the regular channels, perhaps an e-mail campaign to his overseers is not uncalled for.
#3 said it exactly. This is so far away from Protect vacation virtual tours Serve that it should be scraped off their vehicles. If I were filming these thugs I would do nothing but repeat that fact and ask them when they decided to start intimidating and abusing the people who pay their salary. Someone oughta follow this video up with measuring tire distance on all the cruisers who show up to these petty enforcement crackdowns.
Anyone who wants to win the election vacation virtual tours for Sheriff in this town has only to make a speech about returning sanity and fairness to the police force and they d walk home a winner. This video could be their one and only TV campaign vacation virtual tours ad - This is how your current Sheriff thinks his officers vacation virtual tours should enforce the law.
Be sure to forward them the address for the Rochester Police Locust Club, that s where their union head (Mike Mazzeo, the guy saying that this recent bout of retaliatory ticket writing was just the pigs doing their jobs) is based.
No idea about timings or duration, but methinks the bow of the Masic frigate might get at the very least a whiff of grapeshot from @LulzSec s fo castle 1-pounder Arrrr, pieces vacation virtual tours of eight, me hearties arrrr.
The Pixiq link (the original story) has FULL dox on Masic in the comment including his pay, home phone, and pretty much every online identity (which Masic has been changing frantically). Dox elsewhere are more complete now it is scary how much stuff you can find on someone for $1.99.
Come on, guys, City police officers write ticket every night after parking enforcement officers leave for the day. And if there s a parking infraction they come across in their patrol areas, they will write those violations. That s part of their job.
I called the mayor s office and said they were disgraceful, that they ought to do something about their reputation as such bully boys, and got the distinct impression that I was by no means the first such caller.
I think it s interesting that police, government vacation virtual tours officials, get aggravated and even arrest (and sometimes attack) people for taking photos or video of them. After all, the police and government are huge proponents of video cameras being all over the place for the sake of security and protecting the public interest. Isn t it strange?
Really, it s more than just petty harassment. You have to have the context behind why people would be meeting in support of Emily Good in the first place and then view this as a continuation. There was a time when I would have said these kinds of things either couldn t happen in these United States, or if these things did happen, they would be exceedingly rare and those who abused their authority in this way would be swiftly held accountable. Man, I was naive to the point of stupidity, eh?
LOL The cops are so butt-hurt there that they have to give out 12 inch from the curb parking tickets to cars parked 12 1/2 inches from the curb. And then have the temerity to lie to someone RECORDING them that there were complaints .
i m rarely in favor of federal legislation as an answer to bad policy, but i d support some sort of federal law/ruling etc. firmly establishing the RIGHT of people to film police without interference, and (fwiw) the right of cops to film as well.
Rochester city cops have been acting out like this for years and years, and nobody quite knows why. Our various Mayors and County Supervisors know about it but either actively collude or aren t quite sure how you handle taking a run at cops.
I mean they re not ALL bad. The city SWAT unit has fired exactly one bullet over the past thirty years, and that bullet was from a single sniper and hit an armed gunman with a hostage. They re not cowboys. So we ve got that going on.
My personal theory, backed up by nothing more than my gut, is that it s because a lot of the RCPD cops do not actually live in the city itself. Rochester is a smallish city with a centralized population and a decent road system, and you can get from your large tract house in the suburbs to the city center in about 45 minutes during rush hour. A -lot- of cops commute, and they have no ties to the city community and couldn t give a fuck about it.
Wrong stereotype. Cops today are more likely to have full sleave tattoos (like the pig in the video linked above) and have two ass cheeks full of steroids. All they want to do is bust some heads, get paid extra, and have everyone bow to their will.

a small core are doing MMA, Xfit, Powerlifting, etc. but few. personally, i train as a strength athlete (and do some track and field) so this shit is really important to me, but the dept s and unions collude to make a physical fitness requirement a no-go. which is sad. imo, cops should absolutely vacation virtual tours not have the right to get out of shape
From various shots of the parked police cruisers, they looked vacation virtual tours much more than 12 inches from the curb. So did they only have one pink ruler among them or is the law not applicable to police parking?? Perhaps everyone reading vacation virtual tours this should mail a cheap ruler to the police department (and mayors office) so they can get a measure vacation virtual tours of the bad public relations this is for the PD and Rochester. I visited there last summer briefly on the way to Toronto and thought it would be a nice place for a future visit when we could stay longer. I guess I should spend my tourist dollars somewhere with more mature and intelligent community leadership.
If the Congressmen Ron Paul Barney Frank legislation to allow the states to legalize, tax and control marijuana were to ever become law, you would remove a significant percentage of the police contact with the public.

Ergo, even nice , well-educated , middle-class people will do very bad things when granted power without consequence. Throw in lower-class , poorly educated , and roid ragin and you have found waaaayyy too many cops.
The best outcome we can hope for at this point is for these incidents to keep happening and the videos to keep going viral. Yes, it means many more victims of state oppression, but does anyone actually believe that anything less than total outrage will wake this population vacation virtual tours up?
Once I hear my aloof neighbors and family members complaining about civil rights violations I ll know change is afoot. But for now most are still stuck in the ridiculous Democrat/Republican false dichotomy.
But living vacation virtual tours in NYC, being at least weekly subjected to 4th amendment violations as I enter the WTC hole and attempt to cross the Hudson to Jersey City via the PATH, it s clear to me that there needs to be outrage, not just intellectual disgust on the part of those few that pay attention.

Exactly. vacation virtual tours If the city police are using their valuable time to intimidate people vacation virtual tours engaging in peaceful assembly, then there may be too many municipal police. Perhaps the citizens in Rochester should consider abolishing the department and relying on sheriff s deputies for any needed law enforcement services/emergency response. Of course, citizens themselves should be the first lin
