Since Hertz was sold to a private equity group, I have noticed nothing but degradation of service. Igor I left Hertz a long time ago. I have to say they won me back in the last 2 months, and I have swung ALL my business back there. This new branding with Jackman panama city beach vacation rentals out of Toronto leading that effort and Frissora at the helm they have been remaking the user experience. I don t know how they are doing it, but they have exceeded my expectations in all of my last 16 rentals where the brand changes panama city beach vacation rentals were rolled out. I like being in control of my car selection, knowing the stall from the minute I get off the plane, walking in and driving out without seeing anyone and even being able to switch cars on the fly from my phone if I want the 4 4 today and if I need help their people are now happy friendly. Good to hear you have consistently good experience, Ian. I must note I base mine on previous rentals some months back and one recent one at MCO this October. Their sales guy was trying to sell me an upgrade in a very misleading way. As a result I lost 30 minutes at the counter. Plus they gave me the keys for a full sized car that had 2 big and 3 small suitcase icons whereas I could not fit 2 standard samsonites into the trunk. They did offer me another one after I complained (and lost another panama city beach vacation rentals 30 minutes) that was still in the full size cat. It was also a newer car. The one they tried to get me into first also smelled of cigarettes. So, quite a disappointing experience (I booked via priceline and didn t see an oppty to enter my Hertz gold card number, which obviously didn t help either).
