The location was excellent. Literally adventure tours mexico just 1 minutes walk from San Marc's square. The room was clean and comfortable and they provide a lovely breakfast. Even though it was so close to shops and San Marc's Square, it was quiet when the window was closed. We could watch people from our room which gave it a lovely atmosphere.
There was only 2 bad things about it. Our room was on the 4th floor and there was no lift which meant climbing 4 flights of stairs, 60 stairs in total. The concierge carried our suitcases up to our rooms but we were left to carry them back down on the day we left. My partner ended up hurting his back from carrying them down. However, they probably would have carried them down had we asked. The bathroom had one of those showers that didn't have a recess so we had to be very careful not to have anything in the bathroom that shouldn't get wet when showering because water went everywhere.
