Never having been on a Segway before, we were quite nervous but after a quick training session with our tour guide and our group, we were pros! For all you naysayers of Segways, they are extremely easy to use and SO much fun! Our tour guide was a younger guy who made the tour very exciting and was very knowledgeable of the sites that we saw. I just did the Segway tour (evening) with my 12 year old son,... we had many highlights form our 3 week European adventure,... this was without doubt, one of the best and most memorable! I Highly recommend this to anyone. It takes all of 30 seconds to familiarize and get comfortable on the Segway, then you are good to go. Our tour guide (Carlos) was awesome as well.
Let s cut to the chase - this was an awesome experience for our family of four! We had never set foot on a Segway before this tour. Within a half hour of arriving we were practicing in the courtyard. Within 45 minutes or so of arriving we were all riding away on our tour - and down the streets of Paris! How can you go wrong? We saw major sites. We had a great tour guide that entertained us the whole time. We got lots of Segway practice. And we covered enough ground that we were all tired at the end but were fully satisfied with the experience.
We were in Paris 2 weeks ago and on the first day I took my two teenage boys and my parents (both 70 yo) on this tour. I am so glad we did it as it was great fun but also gave us a wonderful overview of the city - I didnt realise how far we had travelled during the tour until we walked it all the next day! Our night time segway tour of Paris was one of the highlights of our week long trip. It was the perfect way to cover lots of distance without the sore feet.
