When you arrive at the Deutsches Museum be sure to buy your tickets in the courtyard before you ente

Decided military discount hotel to spend Thanksgiving weekend in Munich.  Found a great weekend rate at the  Hilton Munich Park Hotel .  We normally don t stay in the bigger chain hotels over here because they tend to cost a lot more than the smaller European hotels, but this deal was great and made it the cheapest place I could find.  It also included breakfast which is very high on Mike s list of priorities for hotel selection.  I loved that it is on the  Englischer Garten , giving me a great place to go for a run on Saturday morning.  The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Altstadt, but most of that walk is through the garden.  There is also a trolley stop just a few minutes from the hotel and a bus stop right out front, for easy transportation.  We ended up eating military discount hotel our Thanksgiving dinner in the hotel restaurant military discount hotel and the food was fantastic.  Sam had his new favorite meal, Spaghetti Bolognese, and it even lived up to his high standards.  Another added bonus, the hotel has a pool, sauna and steam room.
When you arrive at the Deutsches Museum be sure to buy your tickets in the courtyard before you enter the actual building.  The price is pretty reasonable.  We paid 17€ for a family ticket.  There is a coat check (for a small fee) as you enter the lobby.  They sell guide books in English, but they are not really necessary as most of the displays have both German military discount hotel and English descriptions.  There are still some of the displays with only German descriptions, but not very many.  Maps of the museum are offered in English free of charge.
Mariensäule Marian column erected in 1638 to celebrate the end of Swedish occupation during military discount hotel the Thirty Years War. The golden statue of the Virgin Mary on the top was actually created in 1590 and originally located in the Frauenkirche.
When we were walking through the city we came across a protest.  Strangely, it was a Palestinian protest against Israel.  There were probably more Polizei than protesters, and the crowds watching were very small.  The protesters were getting shouted down by many of the German bystanders.  Not surprising that a protest of this nature would not garner much support in Munich, given the city s history.
Got up Sunday morning, had breakfast, military discount hotel then headed off to Dachau and  home.  I feel like it s my constantly repeated refrain, but there is still so much to see.  We definitely need another visit to Munich.
Makes me want to drive to Munich! I have only driven through Munich on the way to Garmisch a handful of times and once we stopped at Dachau Concentration Camp but I really want to stop at the Hofbrauhaus and have a gigantic beer and check out the bullet holes in the walls from Hilter and his coup. Now I m gonna head over to your BMW post!
