Dr. Mark Neerof went on the say that we have the greatest health system in the world and that he doe

This week s  Pioneer Press publication, the Lake Forester, published an ad that called attention to a group that is about a year old, Docs4PatientCare, a grassroots organization that not only recruits doctors, but is also open to all who are interested in advocating for responsible healthcare reform by visiting its website and signing up (docs4patientcare.org).
The ad announced a Health Care Town Hall Meeting sponsored by Docs4PatientCare on Tuesday, December 15th from 7-9 p., at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel, 933 Skokie Boulevard, Northbrook, IL.
In checking out docs4patientcare.org, I was delighted to find that a Lake Forest australia travel doctor, Mark G. Neerhof, North Shore University Health System, Maternal/Fetal Medicine, is involved in organizing a formal chapter here in Chicagoland.  Dr. Neerhof is the main contact in the Chicago area for Docs4Patient Care.
An interview with Dr. Mark Neerhof informed me that Docs4PatientCare was founded as an alternative group to the American Medical Association (AMA) to give physicians a voice.  I was surprised to learn from Dr. Neerhof australia travel that only 17% of doctors belong to the AMA (many of them students and residents).  A public perception exists that physicians support Congressional australia travel healthcare reform proposals after the AMA came out with its endorsement of the House bill.  This endorsement, however, was made at the executive level.
During my conversation with Dr. Neerhof, he emphasized that health care reform is neither a Republican australia travel or a Democrat issue, but an American issue.  Dr. Neerhof s own concern over changes being discussed in Congress which could compromise the quality of healthcare he and other doctors could offer their patients, led Neerhof to become acquainted with Docs4PatientCare.
Dr. Mark Neerof went on the say that we have the greatest health system in the world and that he doesn t want to see it destroyed by Congress.  According to Neerof, the reforms Congress is proposing would be a financial disaster for this nation.
Getting the word out about Docs4Patient Care is a challenge.  The word is being spread via the website, through a partnership with Salem Communications (Michael Medved, australia travel Mike Gallagher (primary voice), Hugh Hewitt, Bill Bennett) and their talk show hosts working with DFPC to raise awareness, and by word of mouth.
Tuesday night s health australia travel care forum is just one of several being planned by Dr. Mark Neerof at other locations throughout Chicagoland.  On Tuesday night Dr. Neerof and three other doctors will employ straight talk about government health care and its impact on patient care, quality, availability and cost.
