My friend and I stayed in Hard Rock Hotel Orlando . I loved this hotel and its vibe and chilled out atmosphere. It was just a cool and a trendy place to stay. My room was huge and the bed was amazing. I had a mattresses topper on and it was so comfortable. The service was first class too! There was music everywhere throughout the hotel and all the images and memorabilia from all the rock stars was visually stunning!! The pool was massive and heated.
I had breakfast and dinner at the Kitchen Restaurant. Restaurant was very laid back and the food was amazing as you would expect from a 5* but not at 5* prices. Breakfast was approx $15 and kids eat free. The food was freshly made omelettes, fry, pancakes, discount travel packages orlando waffles you name it they have it. They also have a kids crib which is  full of toys and computer games for the kids to hang out.
Dragan Challenge – Loved it! I've never been on a roller coaster. I am terrified of them, but I got the strength from somewhere to do it and I am so happy I did! It was amazing! Revenge of Mummy was one of my favorite rides in the park it was amazing a roller coaster in the dark very scary!!  Also a highlight was Sherk 4D, Twister the Simpsons ride , and of course ET. I am very excited about hopefully returning back next year as Universal is launching their new ride – Transformers.
Citywalk is Universals nightlife entertainment with a lot of clubs, bars, shops and restaurants when you buy a park ticket with us then you will have free entry into a lot of the clubs and bars in Citywalk. You also get this when you are staying in one of the Universal hotels. The first night I went to Bubba Gump Shrimps this is all themed around the movie Forrest Gump and the food was amazing and great value for money and great atmosphere. Another restaurant I have to recommend is the Hard Rock Café. Portion sizes were just massive here and very delicious. Another venue was Rising Star which was a karaoke bar but you had a live band to accompany you and 2 very sexy backing singers/dancers this was an amazing show and lots of fun! We also went and played crazy golf with a choice of 2 course and horror it was good fun!! Then we went to pat O'brien's duelling piano bar which is a must it was amazing great atmosphere discount travel packages orlando in the bar and the guys on the piano played requests for $$ and everyone joined in for a sing song loved this bar!
