Buried beneath the thousands of dancing feet that will have turned, tapped and stomped their way through the ballrooms of the Renaissance hotel over the first three days of this dance competition-convention-award show pandemonium breathes the only part of this frenzied weekend that we really care about: ski world cup tickets the Tremaine National Finals Gala. Tremaine – a dance convention that's been around for 30 years (and that a certain OW writer may or may not have attended several times as a kid) – is naming Swedish-American mega-star Ann-Margret Entertainer of the Year this weekend. Yeah, we're serious. Bye Bye Birdie, The Cincinnati Kid, Carnal Knowledge – it's her: The triple-threat heartthrob who batted her eyes into America's heart for more than 50 years. It might just be worth the inevitable stampede of dancing children and deranged dance-moms to see her in the post-post-post-Carnal flesh.
