You’re invited to the 1958 prom as Musical Theatre West ushers in spring with the Roger Bean smash Off-Broadway musical hit, The Marvelous Wonderettes . The Marvelous Wonderettes previews on Friday, April 16 and opens Saturday, April 17 with performances through May 2 at the beautiful cheap las vegas hotel Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach.
The Marvelous Wonderettes takes the audience to the 1958 Springfield High School prom to meet four girls (Missy, Betty Jean, Suzy and Cindy Lou) with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts.
The music features classic song favorites “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Lipstick on Your Collar,” “Secret Love,” “Mr. Sandman,” and so many more, The Marvelous Wonderettes promises to be a prom night that won’t be forgotten.
