This park is the perfect choice for those looking for a day of activity with the family. Attraction midtown miami at the park include airboat rides, a wildlife park and a number of dining options. One offering of the park is an airboat ride. The park is situated on a nature preserve, and in this preserve are thousands of acres of swamp, midtown miami marshes and rivers that make up the central Florida Everglades. In addition to this, there is an interactive tortoise exhibit, a bird aviary and a gator platform where visitors can see huge alligators and even have a chance to feed them. One of the newest features of the park is the brand new Pete Pegs Silver Platter Bar B-Q. This restaurant serves up a number of Florida barbecue favorites including midtown miami smoked chicken, ribs, pulled pork, gator tail, sweet potato fries and frog legs. Visitors will be able to dine at the lakeside and cool off with some sweet tea or an Italian ice.
