Bremerton Marina is launching a new cruising vacation apartment rentals miami club program for tenants that will provide one of the most sought-after traditional benefits of a yacht club, without actually being a yacht club. The Olympic Peninsula Cruising Club will offer reciprocal rights for participants at three different Puget Sound locations.
Bremerton Marina tenants will have, as a part of their moorage agreement, reciprocal moorage options vacation apartment rentals miami at Home Port Marina in Pleasant vacation apartment rentals miami Harbor, Port Hadlock Marine in Port Hadlock and Emerald Yachts in Gig Harbor.
As with yacht club reciprocal moorage agreements, there are conditions and limitations to the Cruising Club program. As is typical, reciprocal moorage is first based on availability — if regular tenants or previously registered transients are already occupying all available slips at the destination marina, the reciprocal won t be available. If it is, the agreement limits stays to two consecutive nights (although most marinas are perfectly willing to extend your stay at their regular transient rates should you wish to stay longer).
The reciprocal option can be exercised at each of the marinas up to four times per year, for a total of 24 possible free nights at all the reciprocal properties. And as with most yacht club reciprocal agreements, the free moorage does not include electrical or other service-based surcharges that may be incurred.
Unlike most yacht club reciprocal agreements, the Cruising Club plan offers reservations and centralized booking. Tenants will call the Bremerton Marina office to reserve a slip at the reciprocal property. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, with no blackout vacation apartment rentals miami dates, although only one reservation can be on the books at any given time.
Although the reciprocal locations are geographically distributed around the Sound, the catalog of options currently offers only a small fraction of the various locations that a conventional yacht club might afford members. As the Cruising Club expands its menu, it s unclear whether or not yacht clubs will be willing to offer their own moorage reciprocity to it, or if it will continue to focus on deals exclusively with other marinas.
