Looking for a nice getaway in the picturesque Finger bicycle tours in italy Lakes Region bicycle tours in italy of New York State, and having traveled on business in the area it didn t take me long to find the Gothic Eves Bed and Breakfast through a local search. I was not disappointed and this B B exceeded all my expectations. The main house was built in 1855 and has been furnished with authentic antiques.
My wife and I stayed here for two days in July. We wished we had stayed much longer! The location is excellent for getting to the local wineries and exploring the finger lake region. The B B is located in a quiet village and is in walkable distance to a few good places to eat and drink.
Everything you wished for and more My wife and I spent two evenings at the Gothic Eves and we couldn t have been more happy with it. From the moment we arrived we didn t need to think about anything other than relaxing. Our hosts, Rose and Roman, were extremely friendly, down-to-earth and gracious. We made it a point to take full advantage of all the wonderful amenities that the Eves had to offer including the hot tub heated by a wood burning stove, a camp style fire pit (outfitted by Roman himself), and the elite spa services. If you are just looking to unwind and read a book, there are a couple of chairs and swings to relax on the grounds. All in all, the Gothic Eves offered topnotch accommodations with some local charm. I would recommend it to anyone. We hope to return next year. BTW be sure to check out Hazelnut Restaurant in Trumansburg just a short walk up the street. Great food and atmosphere.
