Just delightful. The singing was top notch, the acting (and action) over the top, and seeing an opera so 'up close' was just fun. The set was minimal as was the orchestra, but (in my opinion) this was the most enjoyable opera I've seen in years. The hotel was busy (a large wedding in the lobby upstairs) but the Mayflower's service was still excellent. We valeted the car (painless and only $10 with the discount from the restaurant), had dinner at The Edgar in the hotel (also very busy and got fast service; the food was not too expensive and was very good) so we were able to relax and enjoy our dinner, and after the opera we were able to talk to the players. Again, just delightful new vegas hotels and fun. Can't wait for their next performance 23 May.
