Portland has earned the distinction of being the most expensive U.S. destination in which to rent a car. A new survey from CheapCarRental.net came to this conclusion after comparing the car rental rates of 50 destinations throughout the United States. The time period of comparison was the main summer travel months of June, July and August 2013.
